We really enjoyed staying here. It was on a quiet street but a very short walk to all the action. Convenient to attractions and central. Helpful staff!

A clean functional hotel in a great location. Small room with very tiny shower, no refrigerator or closet and the bar/restaurant downstairs was never open (clerk said it never reopened after Covid). It looked fully stocked and ready for business!

Great location of the hotel, friendly staff and good breakfast! We were offfered early check-in for free, which we are very grateful for! Strong recommendation for the stay in the city center.

Location is great
The facility is a little bit old but it what you can expect with that price
The breakfast is minimal so looking back maybe I wouldn't pay the extra for it and just eat outside there is many places around

Extremely well located, within 10 minutes walking distance of old town, very comfortable bed.
Everything perfect!
Would definitely go back!

Great hotel and location

Most things were actually fine. However I received only one pillow, and there seems to be some club nearby whose "music", being played between midnight and 3am (?) made it hard to fall asleep.

Pleased with the Hotel

Location: many restaurants and bars around and <5 minute walk to underground and airport transfer (by bus). Many of the big sights and museums are within 5-20 minutes walk, but also easy to get to by public transport.
Room: Small room but clean and modern. Very comfortable bed. Effective aircon that was quite, no problem to use it while sleeping. Curtains could be a little bit thicker to properly hide the morning light. The hotel is on a lively street, but almost no noice is heard in the room. The room was very clean when we arrived, but the cleaning was a little sloppy during our stay.
We did not eat breakfast at the hotel.

The hotel was very close to many restarants and shopping and especially the bus route to access airport bus.

The location of this hotel is a short walk from many of the main attractions like State Opera, St Stephen's Cathedral and many others.
The room is a bit old, but comfortable and clean.
The only downside is the noise during the night. There seems to be a fair amount of night clubs and bars around, which go on until 3am or so. Hard to sleep.

Very charming hotel. Staff very attentive! Close to all attractions.

It was a very clean, convenient, well managed, well maintained and location was amazingly located. I enjoyed the room and Vienna.

Great location, only a short walk from the main sites in Vienna. Hotel was small and hard to spot at first from the street, but was clean and staff were friendly. The lift didn't install huge confidence though. Room was large enough for a family, but bathroom door wouldn't stay shut unless locked. There was good WiFi but no fridge in the room. Aircon worked great. Breakfast options were limited but the staff were attentive and friendly.

Nice place.

Hotel is in a terrific location. It is not on the main square so it is not too loud, but it is only a few minute walk away. All major sights can be reached within 15-30 minutes walking (except Schonbrunn). Breakfast was good. My only real complaint is the walls were so thin that I could hear the man in the next room talking and snoring. It was a fairly expensive stay, so not sure if I would do it again. I might choose to stay in a different area that’s more affordable and a little less touristy.

Great place to stay, close to most attractions, very friendly and customer service oriented staff.

Great location at a reasonable price. Staff were lovely. Small but perfectly formed.

Great location, very central and easy to get to from the airport. Airport bus literally drops you 2 minutes from it's door. Single room and bathroom small but as expected. Room clean. Staff accomodating when I requested a lighter duvet. Breakfast very good and plentiful setting you up for a day exploring such a lovely city.

Was really easy to use Vienna Airport Lines (line 2) to and from Airport. Very walkable Inner Stadt area. Easy U-Bahn to Scoenbrunn and Ferris Wheel. Never got in a Taxi or Uber.

Staff great, good location most sights within easy walking distance or underground round corner, room and breakfast very good

The location is amazing, just a few quick blocks from Stephansplatz and so many other sights. The service was absolutely top notch, all the desk agents were lovely and helpful (even lent me a pair of scissors that I desperately needed). Water pressure was amazing and hot water plentiful. The bed could have been better - I could definitely feel springs pressing into my back - but overall it was a great stay.
If you’re there on the weekend and a light sleeper bring earplugs; there’s a billiard hall just down the way and the patrons get loud between 1 and 3 AM (that’s nothing to do with the hotel but a tip!)

Arrived for late check out. Reception is manned 24/7. Received key and took the lift to the room. Rooms are small but comfortable. Bed is like sleeping on a cloud. Received extra pillows from reception. Reception extremely helpful. Bathroom contains hair dryer so no need to bring one. . Hotel is very close to st Stephen’s cathedral and train station.
Highly recommend you go for a drink at pickwicks three doors down from the hotel. Breakfast is available at the hotel but we chose to eat out at cafe castello.

I have stayed 4 nights at Marc Aurel, and everything was great.
The hotel is located in a very convenient area, it’s less than 10 mins from the cathedral and basically the city centre, where the shops and restaurants are.
Also, logistically is perfect as is close to the underground, buses, trams and even the catamaran that goes to Bratislava (I recommend that)!
The hotel is small but very clean and the staff is always nice and very helpful.
I had a problem with my room the first night, as it was located on the side of the building close to restaurants and pubs.
It was quite noisy but they have been happy to move me in another room, and had no issues with the street noise anymore.
I totally recommend this hotel, especially to solo travellers!

Wonderful little hotel very close to everything you want to to see in Vienna. The beds are the only things I would say could use improving. Everything else was perfect. They also were very kind and accommodating since I had to change my res last minute due to a flight cancellation.

The rooms was clean and functional. The people in the front desk and breakfastroom very service minded and frindly. The location worked well as nearby metro and the innercity.

My father ended up in hospital on the day of check-in. All the staff were fantastic; reception in helping me when I had to keep extending my stay & service in cleaning the room around my father once he was discharged. Everything was easy to walk to, including the underground, which I took to the hospital & Schönbrunn Palace.

Room was very small.

As a solo traveler it felt very safe and the staff were so friendly. The room was very nice, clean and modern. The air conditioning was amazing and kept the room cold, the hotel it’s self is very central and only a few minutes walk to major attractions and bars. It is also very close to a lot of public transport that make it easy getting around the city.

Fint hotell, hard seng, litt støy fra gata

The hotel is in a very good location only steps away from the airport bus stop. It's convenient to the historic town center and restaurants and cafes near the Donau canal.
The room was fine. It was clean and everything was working. The TV attachment bracket has been damaged (probably by a previous guest) and the TV was hanging at a slight angle on the wall.
The bathroom was functional but in need of renovation with some cracked tiles an a hole in the wall.
The continental breakfast was better than expected with a good selection of items plus some hot sausages and eggs.
Street noise is a problem, especially on the weekends. The hotel is on the same street as several night clubs with loud customers outside until the the wee hours of the morning. I needed to wear earplugs when sleeping.
The air conditioner worked great and was definitely needed on the unusually hot days/nights that I was there in May.

Nice hotel with great location. I like to be kind to the environment, so I didn’t want the towels changed but left them on the rails. Unfortunately they were changed every day - despite hotel’s policy.
That’s a shame. But otherwise an okay hotel.
Would stay again, but insist on keeping the towels 😄

PROS: Friendly staff. Very good location. Affordable and good value for money. Lots of good eateries nearby. Very close to attractions and train/tram. CONS: Overpriced basic breakfast. External guests and hotel guests pay the same price – strange. Walls are thin and floors creaking... not good for light sleepers.

The rooms were modern, clean and quiet We had 4 single rooms Not large but perfect They were able to store Our luggage the day we left Very helpful The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied ’
