It suited our needs perfectly with a five minute walk to the U bahn station. Peter & his wife were great hosts & helped us with any problems & queries. The area itself is very quiet Mon to Fri but comes alive at the weekend when the Viennese come to relax & a lively atmosphere ensues

From the communication, to the check in process, the owners, to the location, this property was GREAT. Peter and his wife showed my family and I such good hospitality, that we couldn't stop thanking them. The house is a nice size for a small family of 4 maybe 6 (don't quote me on that), but either way it can definitely hold 4 adults, and they have a crib if you need one. The best part of the home is the garden of course. My boys were able to play outside, while my wife and I sat in front. We would like to thank Peter and his wife again, and the next time we are in Vienna, we will most definitely be booking with them.

We very much enjoyed our stay at "Das Garten Haus." It is a cozy, lovely little cottage. Our family of four (two kiddos ages 11 and 8) were quite comfortable. The layout of the house was great - kids room with two beds and a spacious queen sized bed for the adults. Neighborhood is super quiet and clean. The home is well maintained with the landlords living next door, although we never needed them or saw them other than when they kindly checked us into the cottage. They left us treats upon check-in and check-out. Das Garten Haus is very conveniently located about a 5 minute walk from the subway (U6 line) that will take you anywhere you want to go in Vienna - opera house, therme, Christmas markets, palaces, etc. Also just a 15 minute walk to Spar, Billa or Hofer for groceries. An Uber ride to/from the airport using a van is pretty affordable. We would definitely consider this property for a future visit to Vienna. Good value, nicely maintained, excellent location. And Vienna is awesome - one of Europe's most loveliest cities.
