Beautiful little inn in a beautiful little town. This was a much needed stop in civilization after 2 nights wild camping on the West Highland Way. Clean, cozy, with a really nice old fashioned, 60's feel to the place. Best Western owns the place apparently, so you check in at the hotel across the street, and use their facilities there if you like (drying room is so clutch on the WHW)
Nothing--maybe someone to help carry my luggage upstairs? After walking 20 miles in a day carrying a box of cereal would have been tough so it would have been a nice option ;)

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Daarnaast kregen wij een upgrade naar een luxe hotelkamer.

Staff at Crainlarich Hotel were great at reception and in dining room. Been there before. Food in restaurant good quality.
Unfortunately my bed in Glenbruar where we stayed (an annex of the Crainlarich Hotel across the road) was a wreck. My back which is usually fine felt jammed and achy. The tiny shower cubicle base filled up with water so quickly it nearly flooded the bathroom so i had to keep turning it off to let it drain. Very very poor. facillities.

Lovely room and great restaurant in the Crianlarich Hotel. Beautiful river walk close by.
Not told at time of booking breakfast not served at Glenbruar House but across the road at the Crianlaroch Hotel. This was OK but inconvenient if raining hard.

We have stayed for one night at the small cottage house which has just few rooms. Our room was quiet, cosy and comfortable. Range of choices in breakfast menu.

We got upgraded to a nearby hotel since the Glenbruar house had some renovations ongoing. It was a great upgrade though and we really like the location, the spacious rooms, the accommodating staff and the great included breakfast.

We were booked in for the glenbruar House, but got upgraded in the best Western crianlarich house (sister hotel) the young man behind the desk was amazing. He was so kind and helpful. We were doing the west highland way after the worst day and he was so caring and offering to help with anything at all. The room and hotel was amazing. Best night sleep out of the whole trip.
The only let down was the restaurant had run out of majority of food. Such as chicken, scampi, steak, basically all main options. For someone who struggles with food this wasn't ideal at all.

The breakfast was excellent
The evening meal was very poor, first time I have ever sent a meal back and there is no-where else in Crianlarich to eat. The second day we bought some food from the convenience store.

we arrived to the house, and sent by sign to the hotel (different place) in the other side of the road to the check in.
In the reception they told us the house isn’t available, and moved us to this hotel we didn’t wanted.

This hotel offers you very comfortable rooms. It is on the route of the West Highland Way. So a nice stay to recover.
The staff is friendly and the breakfast was very good. There is also a restaurant in the hotel where you can eat a more than average meal in a cosy atmosphere.

Got an upgrade to the Crainlarich Hotel Room was excellent and food was very good. Staff could not have been more helpful.
Parking is next to main road, though you can pull up next to hotel door to load and unload luggage.

We were originally staying in Glenbruar house but upon Check In at the BW Crianlarich was upgraded to the hotel which was amazing. Really comfortable bed and huge shower.
I called a few days before arrival about booking dinner for our group and was told no need. We arrived at the hotel just before 8pm after a long day on the West Highland Way and asked to eat straightaway and was told it wasn’t possible as a group of 15 were booked in, after explaining that I had called previously and that we hadn’t eaten for hours she took us through to the restaurant where our order was taken promptly but we waited almost 45 mins for our food which had very obviously sat under hot lights or similar for some time. We were so hungry we ate it but it didn’t represent value for money.

Stayed here 2 nights during our motorcycle tour. Both arrivals in pouring rain on motorcycles but no problem staff very friendly and excepting of motorcyclists. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms excellent. Restaurant very good food and service. Parked motorcycles near to the reception door again no issues and secure.

We had booked Glenbruar House but were upgraded to the Crianlarich Hotel on arrival. An amazing hotel which I would highly recommend.

We were the only ones booked into the B&B, so they shifted us into the hotel with a room upgrade free of charge. Much handier staying in the hotel to be fair, as there's no need to cross the road for meals.
Food was fantastic. We had breakfast and dinner there whilst we were there. Dinner choice isn't a massive menu, but definitely a case of a few things done great.
Lift was broken at the hotel. Okay for us staying on the 1st floor, but if you had heavy/lots of bags and were staying further up the hotel, it might be annoying.

The breakfast was very good, with a good choice. The location worked for us as it was a break on our journey home from Skye. We had an upgrade to the hotel across the way. Good ambience in the restaurant and staff very attentive. Lots of places to relax - bar area, snug area and lounge room with widescreen TV.

good brekfast
I had a knock at 10pm on my door whilst getting ready for bed (i was staying across the road) from a male member of staff demanding payment for my dinner earlier that day. I was there for another 3 days. He said it could not wait til next morning or even checkout?! At no time had I been told I had to pay for dinner directly after it, surely it just goes onto your room credit..

i would not recommend this hotel
We had booked this hotel for walking the west highland way. On the day of check in we miscalculated our walking time and got in to the hotel around 10.30pm very cold, tired and hungry. We had called ahead to the hotel around 7.30pm/ 8pm to say that we would miss dinner and would it be possible to get some sandwiches made up and put in our room as we knew the restaurant would be shut after 9. We were told this wouldn't be possible and no food would be made available which then resulted in 5 of us sharing 3 pot noodles and some crisps. I thought this was terrible customer services, the hotel has and extensive menu with snacks and sandwiches and takeaway available so were really confused as to why they said no. Had we not had snacks we wouldn't have eaten as no shops were open. I am extremely polite but found that when we got to the reception it was made a joke that we had got in late and even when we asked again we were told no food was available. Doing this to 5 people who had been walking for 13 hours was verging on dangerous and although we take responsibility for the late arrival, nothing was done to help us when we got there
