We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The apartment came just as advertised and was clean and spacious for our family. The check in process was smooth as one of the hosts met us on time and showed us around. The location is perfect to be able to walk to almost all of the major Roman sites. There was also a wonderful bar (cafe) next door in which we had our breakfast every day. The only trouble I had was with communication before our stay. I had some questions which needed answers before I could plan the rest of our trip and the host was very slow in responding. I had to reach out a number of times. Other than that, this was a wonderful stay and I would recommend this property to others.

It is a great place to rent, kitchen decently sized, rooms as well. I would say overall no too much to complaint except, owner communication was limited to whatever he thought it was important, and not all the questions were answered.

Stellar location in the heart of all things Rome. The property though had: a broken shower that despite promises was never fixed (so one shower for nine people), minimal hot water, extremely noisy plumbing, minimal basic supplies (no extra toilet paper, no tissues, so salt/pepper, one small towel per person). The doors were extremely fusty and difficult to open. Kitchen floor was warped with peeling floor “tiles”. Beds were comfortable enough and the apartment were clean, but it was certainly not in any way a home away from home with so many (especially plumbing) issues.

Very well equipped kitchen. Property shows as pictured.
Safety issue with the floor. Plumbing failed in two bathrooms.
Unable to clean or do dishes as no dishwasher tablets or kitchen linens provided. The doorman was exceptional.
The spot to rent if you are a large group. We felt safe and comfortable there. We didn’t cook but most definitely the place if you want to do so.

My family (5), and 2 other friends had a wonderful stay at Angel's apartment. We were greeted by Patrizia. All questions were communicated easily with Anna, the manager using WhatsApp. They gave us a thorough overview of the place, instructions on appliances, etc. A washer and dryer is a great bonus to have on-site. The location was great for walking and touring Rome. Highly receommended.

Wonderful location
Great location and close to main areas of interest and lots of shops and restaurants. The unit is very spacious and was great for 5 women. The accommodations are fairly basic, but very comfortable. The only common room is the kitchen. We ate out, but there is a full kitchen. There is some significant street noise as it is on a main street, but we got used to it. We felt very safe in the area and the unit. Overall, it was a good value.

My family, 5 adults, 2 children, had a wonderful time staying at Angel's apartment. We were greeted warmly by Patrizia, Alessandra and Marco and communicated easily with Anna, the manager. Any questions we had were answered promptly via email, text or calls. They gave us a thorough overview of the place, instructions on appliances, help with local eateries, etc. A washer and dryer were wonderful to have. It was a great space for all of us. The bedrooms are spacious with lots of storage, beds are very comfortable. As stated in another review there is no "living room" but we are kitchen people so that was our meeting space. The 2 full baths and 1/2 bath made it very convenient. The locations was great for walking, touring, very convenient to the Vatican and all the other great spots in Rome. A plus is Marco, a doorman, who is there to help and answer questions. Really met our needs and glad we stayed there.

We were very happy with our stay in this lovely apartment and highly recommend it for anyone wanting a perfect location to the Vatican, and all that Rome has to offer. The communication with the host Patrizia was excellent and she could not have been more helpful in arranging transportation and securing a wheel chair for my elderly father. Also the apartment is just a few steps up which is good for mobility challenged people. When I return to Rome I'll be staying here again!

Great location; friendly host!
Everything was great. Our airport pickup was arranged and upon arrival at the apartment we were greeted warmly and the ins and outs of the flat were explained to us. We were a family of four adults and two young kids; the apartment was more than large enough.

Superb location for visitors to Rome. Multiple bus stops within 4-5 minutes. Within walking distance (5-30 minutes) for all the more common Roman historic sites (Vatican City, colosseum, etc). Anna, the property manager was the perfect hostess and the most responsive and helpful manager I have encountered on 8 home rentals on two continents and a couple of islands. She solved several transportation problems for our party of ten without a moments hesitation. The slight downside was the marginal air-conditioning, perhaps due mostly to the 31-36 C heat during our stay compounded by our party size (10 of us) generating body heat in the same range. When addressed to Anna, it was improved markedly and promptly. The apartment and cooking implements of all kinds from fancy coffees to gourmet dinner needs. Good restaurants were within a couple minutes walk, and a cafeteria with pastries, gelato and most anything else was about 60 feet from our front door. The doorman was helpful as well.

Great location. Unfortuantely the property was disappointing.
The location was great, it has 4 separate bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, which was a plus. It is large enough to easily accommodate a family of five, and more. Also, there were not many steps to climb to get up to the unit.
Although there were 4 bedrooms, there was no family room or living room. The only “common” place for the family to sit was around the large kitchen table which took up a lot of space in the kitchen, making it difficult to walk around when cooking. Although crowded, the kitchen was fully equipped and had everything you needed to prepare and serve meals.
The website shows a great picture of Castle d’Angelo, but the only way to see the castle was to lean out one of the bedroom windows and look to the side. The normal view was of a Rome street. This was made more difficult by the heavy security blinds/shutters on the windows. We found they were nearly impossible to raise, which made the apartment dark and claustrophobic.
Right before our stay, we were told that the air conditioner was not working, and due to the weekend and holiday, we had a few days without it working. On our second full day, maintenance people came and tried to fix the AC, but later that day it was having problems again (and they accidentally turned off the hot water in one of the bathrooms). When the maintenance people came, mid-afternoon, they knocked on the door and immediately entered the apartment with the building doorman. My wife, who was near the door, did not have time to even get to the door before 4 men entered the apartment. We had no idea when they were arriving, so this came as quite a surprise.
Our last night at the apartment, I notified the property owner of the AC and hot water were not working (so that he could get it repaired before the next tenants arrived). However, he sent a maintenance person at 9pm to look at it. The man rang the bell (which I did not recognized as a door bell) and again unlocked the door and walked in to the apartment. This was too late in the evening for us, as some were already dressed for bed since we had an early flight the next morning. He did get the hot water working.
The apartment felt dirty, and we did not trust it to be clean. The bottoms of our socks got dirty walking around. There are pull cords just hanging by the windows where there used to be drapes.
We liked the location, but overall, we felt uncomfortable in this apartment.

Super apartment in great location
Excellent apartment in perfect location in Rome for sightseeing, restaurants, wine bars etc. Cristina organised taxis to and from airport which was a huge help, much appreciated. Disappointed we had to pay extra for late check-in.

Great location! Great time! Great service!
We knew our stay was going to be a winner when the owner of the apartment met the first guest at midnight to get him settled in and acquainted with the area. The location was better than we imagined. Spacious 4 BR that accommodated 7 adults comfortably. Air-conditioned. Had everything we needed. Great restaurants, market, running path within walking distance. Location can't be beat!!!

Angel's house
I hope you are asking if we enjoyed our stay at the above property. We enjoyed the great location and the spacious rooms and the amenities
provided.
However, being located on a major street the noise came with the location.
Giuseppe was very helpful. We all had a great time.

Cocina grande y bien equipada. Guías y mapas a disposición. Información detallada del entorno por parte del propietario. Baños muy pequeños. No queda claro en el anuncio la no existencia de salón. Habitaciones mal insonorizadas.

Brilliant location
The location is simply superb: right in front of Castel Sant'Angelo, 5 minutes from Vatican and from Piazza Navona. Apartment is fully equipped (A/C, heating, kitchen implements), rooms are spacious and are well isolated from street noises. Mr Fichera (the owner) is very nice and gives good indications of neighbourhood. Cristina (the rental contact) is also very nice and gives lots of useful information. Quite simply a brilliant location to visit Rome on foot. Will definitely consider this apartment on future visits to Rome.

"Just the right location ...
"Just the right location for enjoying Roma by foot, especially with 3 kids! Of course the flat was perfect for us (with just 5 people) but even with 8 or even 10 it would have been fine I think. The 4 rooms are really large (1 double bed room, 3 other rooms with 2 single beds each, plus one sofa which might be Ok for 2 but we did not open it), and with 3 bathrooms your are really Ok.
Furthermore both Cristina and Guiseppe have been very nice & helpful. They were waiting for us till 1am (our flight was delayed because of the heavy snow!!!!) and even offered us nice pizza / pasta / cheese / vine /olive oil....as a starter! and I must say that we really enjoyed it even that late in the night! They organized also the taxi from and to the airport, sent us many useful informations for making the right reservations (Vatican / Sixtin / Borghese....)and gave us very nice adresses of pizzeria and restaurants.....you really have to follow these advices believe me, it is just great! Even the kids enjoyed eating artichoks!!!!
So really a very nice place for a large family or a small group of friends, just in front of Castel St Angelo! and as we threw some coins in the fountain Trevi, I am sure we will be back....but this time in late spring or automn....in order to enjoy Roma without the snow and the cold. Ice creams are really better over 25°!
