OK, but also consider other options.

Fireplace outside was comfy. Microwave in the lobby was a good so no need to always eat outside. Hotel rooms in the main building were decent. Gym did its job. The hotel works quite alright for a work trip.

The loft room that I had booked was very dusty and Sonesta failed to clean it properly. Moving to the regular rooms helped, the room was nice up there. It was at first difficult to deal with the front desk to sort things out and they just blamed me for having booked through "a third party" a.k.a. booking.com as if that was a licence to be unhelpful. (That changed after I reported the cleanliness issue ) The property did not answer my questions via booking.com before my stay, but instead send automatic messages where they tried to market more expensive rooms. I would double check what the destination fee is all about, whether that is included in the room rate and whether breakfast is included or how much they will charge for you in order to avoid surprises upon arrival.

Exceptional

I loved my stay here it was absolutely amazing all the staff was so friendly. I didn't need room service, just clean towels, and when asked, they were brought right away to my room Will definitely stay at another sonesta.

I just wish that when I checked in, they would have explained the 10 room credit I got when booking and didn't understand it until a few nights later when asking agian so I only used 10 dollars of it. Wish there was a little more room outfront by the fire pit it seemed like the same people were there for hours they even had all the tables occupied as well

Will recommend and stay again!

I loved it. Definitely the best place I’ve stayed at in Columbus so far!

The rooms were very nice and clean and the hotel was in a great spot.

Pokemon Weekend

Location to our event was in walking distance, we didn't need a vehicle all weekend

The food at the restaurant was a bit high priced considering what you got. Also the breakfast staff was very unorganized and even brought me the wrong food but I was on a time crunch and ate it anyways.

it worked for what I needed

It was next to my event

The night staff who walked with me to my room. I’m not sure why. He did absolutely nothing to help me with my bags. He opened the door and turned on the light and expected me to tip him. When I didn’t, he was even less helpful, by ignoring my question about where is a place to get food nearby at 1am which is when I arrived.

It was a great stay, comfortable, had everything we needed, and the restaurant was great!

I liked that it was convenient to where I needed to go, the restaurant on site was open late and had good food, and that the view was nice.

The only thing was that the toilet was leaking.

Good

The facility was nice and clean, staff were also friendly. The valet staff were also good. The restaurant was a bit overwhelmed and understaffed when we arrived back from our concert though. Once we got our food to go it was also a little burnt and over cooked - we just had appetizers.

The breakfast not being included and costing $23 was a bit overkill! If it is not included, then I think the cost should be reduced - that is a lot for what was served! It was the standard breakfast that many hotels serve and is usually included with your stay.

Clean! However, one of the cunstruction worker was rude and they were smoking cigarettes in an enclose area where there were several signs that said Smoking Prohibited!!

People smoking inside the building and in the skywalk bridge connecting the parking lot to the hotel (none smoking area) no microwave in the room and they dont validate your parking ticket which would have been nice!

facility was decent enough. would stay again if I needed to be downtown.

Room very clean. TV was nice. Staff was very friendly and restaurant in the lobby was quite good.

Loft room was very dimly lit. One ceiling light at the entry way and none through the rest of the room. Shower was terrible due to a faulty faucet and plunger. Almost no water pressure in the shower. Noise insulation was also pretty bad.

Nice stay in cbus for basketball games

Very close to nationwide arena.

More bar tenders. Took a long time to get a drink. Then they charged me for a dinner that I didn’t order. They did rectify that situation. However that should never happen.

Very good

The Location of the hotel was central to everything I needed to access during the weekend.

My check in was later than expected. There was an alarm that went off around ten with flashing lights and sound.
