Perfect hotel for river walk or concert at the Alamodome

Superb location

The hotel appeared to be a bit aged on the upper floor rooms, but the room was nice enough and even had a kitchen available. The location is superb and you'll be hard pressed to find a better one. Theres easy access to downtown and the river walk. Breakfast on our 2nd day there had amazing items for a breakfast tacos you could make yourself.

It was a bit expensive, and hotel parking was only available as a pricey 40 dollar a night valet service, however other lots where you could pay to park were available somewhat close to the hotel.

Absolutely Horrible

My room was charged after it was already paid for though booking.com, this caused us to go negative in our bank account.Had no money for dinner the first night, employee brought us up two bottles of water and a small handful of candy to try and make up for it. Absolutely ridiculous ,had to have money wired to me for the rest of my stay.Money is still not in my account three days later. I was told by manager that two nights would be comp. But I haven't received anything regarding the reimbursement for that either. Absolutely the worst vacation!!!!!Staff at hotel didn't seem to care,or make any effort to correct the situation. We had this trip planned for week's,we saved to be able to take this trip.It was completely ruined due to front desk unable to do the job properly.Im beyond disappointed with my experience!!!!!!

Nice visit to San Antonio. In hindsight, would have chose a different hotel.

Windows were filthy. Could not enjoy view from 6th floor. I wish I had booked a much cheaper room.

Older hotel great location

The location was exceptional. Within just a few blocks of everything. Breakfast was good, the ladies were on top of everything. The hotel was very clean but needed to be updated. Staff was very friendly and eager to help with what ever you needed. Very busy hotel.

Our room had a fairly large tear in the carpet. We only had 1 chair in the room so if you wanted to watch tv someone had to sit on the bed. I asked for another one but they didn't have one. The chairs in the lobby were vey uncomfortable. Hopefully they will remodel soon

Great location in San Antonio

The room was in need of an update. Torn carpet, cupboard doors and drawers that needed ajusting. They should have opened the breakfast area until at least 9:30 as it was March break and was likely completly booked.

Okay stay, close to downtown tourist attractions.

The front desk staff girl didn't follow through with calling me asap with early check in. We had a family wedding at 3pm and were told by night staff that early check in was available at 12pm, but when we arrived at 1145am despite calling again in AM the front desk girl told me," Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and say No because we were sold out last night." She offered to store our bags and let us get ready for the wedding in the lobby bathroom!

The location in downtown, great beds,fast and organized.

The room didn't get cleaned. Needs 1 more curtain to cover the sun's light, breakfast room too small, sofa bed on the way when in use.

In summary, even though hotel is older the location makes up for it. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights during Christmas time and had a great experience. Hotel is outdated but our room was clean and spacious. We had a view of Travis park and when it lit up at night it was beautiful. Location is amazing, 3 minutes to the Riverwalk and a nice area. We literally walked everywhere. We parked at a parking garage nearby and that was alot cheaper than doing valet. Since everything is walking distance we did not use our car at all until we headed home. Staff were nice and helpful.

I would not recommend eating the hotel breakfast because it was horrible. Luckily there are plenty of breakfast places nearby. The hotel could definitely use some remodeling, the wallpaper in our bathroom was starting to peel off and the windows need to be cleaned badly.

Buzdolabında ücretsiz bir şişe su bile yoktu ve su doldurmak için herhangi bir imkan da verilmemişti. Kahvaltıda yalnızca yoğurt ve waffles vardı. Eğer Avrupa'dan geliyorsanız aç kalmanız çok normal çünkü Amerikalılar buna kahvaltı diyor. Giriş ve koridorlar genel olarak soğuktu. Odalardaki halılar toz kokuyordu.

Great family getaway!

I called for early check in and was told that the room I reserved was unavailable. It was upgraded immediately. I loved how the hotel saw the issue before it even happened.

My youngest grandson wanted bananas for breakfast only issue.

Perfect, one block from river walk. Easy check in , breakfast was just right and hot every morning. Check out was a breeze.

Pleasant, some room and procedural updates could further improve customer experience.

Awesome location, breakfast was good, the bathroom in our room was clean and in updated condition.

Other furnishings in our room were dated and in some cases in damaged condition. Windows were dirty. Noisy cleaning staff carts pushed across floor during breakfast and early morning trash pickup behind hotel.

Windows were very dirty and couldn’t be opened to clean and let air in.carts in basement were very loud when moving around at breakfast. Trash pick up at 4am woke me with banging around of dumpsters.

Its on one of the main streets of downtown and close to the Riverwalk

The room was tiny and smelled like a wet bathroom. The carpet was ripped. There was only a small window too high to properly look out of.

Nice hotel that is close to the action with clean and comfortable rooms.

Central location in a safe area downtown that is one block from the River Walk, the Alamo, and a 10 minute walk to the convention center. The room is large and comfortable with a nice shower and comfortable bed.

Breakfast and coffee were not very good but they do come with the room.

Hotel was very old. We saw three different rooms. It stank in every one of them, the rooms were ancient and dirty. The carpet was partially torn up and the toilet didn't work. Valet parking is not profitable. We saw the employee two streets away in a public underground parking garage picking up the guests' cars. Public garage there cost 20$/24h

beautiful, cozy, safe for single traveler

Location was fantastic, staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful. Facilities were beautiful and well maintained. The basement area has a large area for breakfast and also has laundry machines next to the gym. I felt very comfortable and wish I was there for longer than one night! The room was small but very cozy and comfortable. Bathroom was a hidden gem and very large with a glass shower. The Alamo and River walk are 1 block away. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby as well as walgreens. I would definitely stay here again. Safe for anyone traveling alone. Parking is valet only.

I would never stay with Marriott again. It was absolutely miserable.

My Fiancé and I stayed here this past weekend. Or should I say for one night after his truck was broken into and property stolen on the hotel valet property. Plus there was a shooting right in front of the hotel. Instead of refunding us for our stay after everything, we were still charged for the room!! This place is not worth it, I would never stay here or suggest this hotel to anybody!
