Overpriced and underwhelming

Location was nice

The mattress was horribly uncomfortable, the TV and wall lights were falling off the wall and crooked. The shower had barely any water pressure and our tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner were half used already!

Receptionist gave us a prompt friendly checkin and was very pleasant to chat with

Had a quiet room for much needed rest after a long delay on an incoming flight . Breakfast was very good with lots to choose from 😀

Could have been a better stay

Really liked that it was close to the mall, restaurants and the healthcare facility that we needed to be at early in the morning. Our room was clean and basic. Perfect for a one night stay.

As soon as you walked in there was an overwhelming smell of chlorine. There was a pallet with chemicals sitting on it right next to the front desk. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room had a weird smell when we first walked in. Also the “spa” hot tub room was run down and there were large holes in the screens on the windows.

Good value, for the price

My bed was very comfortable, the towels were nice and thick, which I appreciate.

Outlets by the bed weren’t very accessible- a plug/charging station on the bedside tables would be nice. I am unsure if I had a pet friendly room or not, but the room smelled a little bit of dog. So if it was those rooms need to be deodorized.

Adequate room and reception staff friendly and helpful

Everything was need and clean, good value for the price, everything that was needed was there, I.e fridge, microwave, etc. I liked that the window seat and that the window could be opened. Bed was comfortable and the shower was great with great water pressure. It was nice to have a hot tub on site, which was clean and the perfect temperature.

The room was very small, the air conditioning very loud. Hot tub would be nice to be open longer than 10 pm. It would have been nice to have had individual bedside reading lights instead of a bright neon light above the bed.

Dissatisfaction

The lady who checked us in had an attitude from the start, then when I requested more pillows for our room, she looked at me and said with an attitude “what, that’s not enough pillows for you?” I said we both like to sleep with a couple pillows and there’s only 3. She gave me the most annoyed face and went and found me some more. We have been staying at this hotel for years because we loved the price, convenience and location. I will never stay here again just because of the way we were treated.

Exceptional

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was very kind and helpful. The entire hotel was very clean. They have no pool but a nice hot tub for relaxation, and its quiet. Its a great location with the mall across the street, many shops restaurants and places to visit around the area. The breakfast is good. Eggs sausage and waffles was my fav. They have coffee all day. The service was good and overall we really enjoyed our stay. We got the queen suite and it had lots of space. It was very affordable and comfortable stay.

Shoddy and cheap

Terrible!! Toilet did not work. sheets were like burlap. cheap file type cabinet for closet. No night stand on one side of bed. When door was shut, there was a crack do side that you could see out to hall wall. No light switch or lighting other than by doorway.

It was comfortable enough for one night.

It is close to the sports facility we played at. There were standard hot and cold breakfast choices. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water.

Dated and in some cases falling apart decor. The walls could use a good cleaning to wipe away previous guests’ splattered food/lotions. The mattresses were so firm they felt like you were sleeping on a granola bar. Bring your own pillow for sure.

Very poor

the price and location

the bed was unbelievably uncomfortable. the housekeeping was supposed to be every other day and it was only done after 3 days and on request. I had to go to the front desk to get towels and was told I had to bring the dirty towels back and then when I brought the towels back I had to take them to the laundry room and was given clean towels that were just bunched up in a cart and not folded and the girl working seemed bothered that I asked for something.

Disappointing

Half decent rooms, nice to have a half kitchen and a bigger fridge.

I reserved 4 nights, mon thru fri, they called me Thurs to say I have things in my room to which I didn't understand. They booked me for 3 nights not 4. Paid extra money for the extended one day.
