The hotel itself is fine. Reason for low score is the homeless encampment facing front door. Homeless walking through parking lot. A gated hotel would help. For this reason I will not return. Felt unsafe!
The homeless encampment facing front door. Homeless walking through parking lot. A gated hotel would help. The bar to enter driveway useless, besides kept open, anyone can walk in premises freely. For this reason I will not return. Felt unsafe!

Very clean and great staff
The Tv didn’t get many channels and was told by the staff that the Comcast agreement had not been agreed on.
The keyless entry did not work.
In spite of advertised check on app feature I still had to go to the front desk. Not as convenient as I liked or as advertised.

I liked the location to the Sac State , and room size.
The breakfast was decent with plenty of changes through out the week on the hot buffet.
Bacon was a hit during the breakfast.
There was some kind of sour smell in the room when the AC wasn't running.
The self parking fee is nonsense considering the surroundings of the hotel - HWY on one side with the homeless encampment.
Tram railroad on the other side. (although you are not able to notice the noise)
During some of the days a homeless came to the breakfast buffet.

Letto comodo, bagno spazioso, biancheria perfetta
Accoglienza pessima. Receptionist sgarbata, poco chiara ed antipatica.
Colazione di pessimo livello: poca scelta e ambiente sporco

Family and I did not expect the breakfast we had, based on our previous interactions.
The person at check in was rude and condescending. The interaction with her alone is why I won’t return. Tv is not compatible with a laptop. No water available to purchase. Dirty room. In construction site. Bathroom door has no lock. Bed was indented. No bed sheets. plus none available. For the price, it was not worth it

Overall this was a pleasant stay. The automated text messages sent before my arrival were out of date, talking about COVID restrictions that were long ago updated - they should fix that. As is common with many hotels now, I was surprised to see parking tacked on at 11.50 a night. Honestly, hotels should EXPECT to provide parking as part of the room cost. I did re-check the hotel listing - normally I avoid hotels with extra charges - but it IS in the listing, I just missed it. With a light rail stop directly outside the hotel, I was pleased to be able to leave my car in the hotel's over-priced parking lot and travel into town by light rail (I was attending meetings at the Capitol) for just $3.50 a day. The outdoor pool was chilly but very pleasant. The breakfast was not very special - particularly their choice of only one (or no) meat dish. One day was just biscuits and gravy. However, the coffee was hot and the fruit juice was good.
The air conditioning was a little odd - getting it to cool the first day was a battle. I think they had left it switched off and it was having to cool the room down from a high temperature. At one point I thought I'd have to call the front desk to get an engineer. They do not normally offer room cleaning. That should have been mentioned at check-in. I didn't mind, apart from the fact that I had to call down to get coffee for the in-room coffee machine. I didn't need a fridge, and it didn't have an on/off switch, so I had to wear earplugs at night so as not to be woken by the whirring. Having a fridge for those who need it is a plus, but not having a way to turn it off if you don't want it is an inconvenience.

Staff were friendly and good. They responded faster. The location was easier to all places.
Room space was small. Breakfast option could have been better. Lift area carpets to be changed as more used.

Once in the door everything was great!
Location was not desirable.

Clean rooms, nice sized pool and great breakfast options. The little cups were an adorable touch as well as the welcome on the tv in the room.
Location was not great, paying for parking, and the staff were nice with the exception of one staff member talking down to another. But lovely to their customers.

It was clean and comfortable, but pricey.
For that price I expected a better hot breakfast assortment. The breakfast was bleh. I would have preferred more protein. It was just biscuits and gravy with eggs.

Lack of chairs for 3, lack of bedding for 3, no towel racks. No restaurant or bar/l ounge as advertised.

Good A/C in the room
Absolutely terrible location and the staff is unfriendly. Pool had a sign from the health department saying it was closed

Easy access off of the Freeway. Well lit parking lot. New facilities with clean lobby, etc. Nice room size. Spacious walk-in shower and wall mounted accompaniments. Ample towels. Easy plug access for electronics. Breakfast available. Black out draperies.
I had arranged for a Late arrival. I arrived @ 3:30 AM as pre-noted. There was NO WAY to get in. I called the phone no. listed on the door and no one answered. It went to a recording. I am SO lucky, a guest arrived and let me in. There was no one at the Front Desk. Again, I tried to call. No answer. LUCKILY AGAIN...my friend called me as she was worried when I had not arrived, and directed me to our room. I had no idea of our room number, no key, no communication, no envelope waiting, and no recourse for assistance ... what the hell?
That is NOT a 24/7 reception, which was one of the main reasons for selecting this facility.

inside it was beautiful, clean, and well taken care of. everything I needed was there and the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. breakfast was also very yummy!! so cool to have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available, and even a water refill station! the smart tv was an added bonus!
near a trolly stop, but I didn’t see anything that made me think it was unsafe. a security guard was walking around too.

It was new & clean, the bathroom had enough towel hooks, and the breakfast was good.
Trying to get to the location was confusing at first. It’s in a corner by the freeway so understandable that the roads in and out would be odd. The price was a bit high but that seems to be what a good motel room costs these days.

Room was surprisingly clean and modern, furniture was functional and in great condition. The bed was way to firm for my liking but we made it work. Other than the unpleasant staff our stay was good.
Check in staff was rude and unprofessional didn’t bring the flat sheets or toiletries I requested prior to check in. Customer service was definitely lacking and they gave me the impression they did not want to be there.

Breakfast setting was spacious and comfortable. food was hot, coffee good, and always in stock.
Front desk person was not real helpful with places to eat and directions.
Need more charging outlets.
