The best part was the apartment's central location. It is located within walking distance to lots of great restaurants, tourist sites, and the train station to take day trips. As other reviewers have noted, the apartment is close to the very lively Pink Street. The sounds of those celebrating the last days of 2023 could be heard by those sleeping in the one, true bedroom. However, the benefits of being in the heart of Old Town far outweighed any disturbance caused by the noise at night. But bring ear plugs, just in case. Due to unexpected and understandable circumstances, the owner was unable to meet us upon arrival, but we accessed the apartment with no problems using the very clear instructions. The owner kept in contact with us throughout our stay and quickly responded to the one or two questions we asked. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Metro (bus, subway, tram, rail, boat) are within 3 short blocks. Restaurants in abundance (expensive to cheap).Generally flat, easy walking. We took a walking tour which highlighted different ways to traverse the area and avoid walking up/down hills. I will recommend Vera & Pedro’s apartment to friends targeting Lisbon vacation. My husband and I feel privileged to have found such a perfect stay.

We read reviews of this apartment which were great Now we can add ours Pedro and Vera are wonderful hosts The apartment was perfect for us.. well equipped, clean, cool, quiet We had easy access to all transportation and could walk all over to enjoy the city We are happy to have found this location and recommend it highly to others

I wish I could give more than five stars! Our experience was great from the moment we booked the reservation Pedro and Vera were helpful, clear, and quick to respond to all our questions. The apartment itself is at a perfect price point. It was "just the basics" but it had *all* the basics, including some much-appreciated fruit in the fridge on arrival. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for mother and son to each have our own space. The apartment is close to transportation and key sightseeing venues, and we enjoyed being able to cook breakfast in the apartment in the morning before setting out for the day. The noise from Pink Street was not an issue with headphones or earplugs--an easy solution. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our family of four adults enjoyed our stay in this very clean, comfortable apartment that included air conditioning, a washer/dryer and an elevator. The location is great for restaurants, bars, and public transportation. Pedro was always responsive via email and Vera was welcoming and very helpful with recommendations at check-in.

The apartment is in a great location near the bars on pink street, close walk to others sightseeing highlights, near the water, train station etc. we couldn’t ask for much better! As with other reviews, Vera patiently waited for us to arrive and went over the location and apartment with us. The space, laundry and two bathrooms were really awesome after 10 days of shared hotel rooms.
Thursday night seems to be when the party starts in this neighborhood so bring earplugs if you don’t plan to join the party till about 3am.
I was a little grossed out when my first shower included hair on the walls from the previous occupants, so my only suggestion to the owners would be to make sure the housekeepers do a little more thorough cleaning.
I 100% recommend this rental!

The apartment is pretty much as described and was comfortable to stay at. Location is great, convenient to the waterfront and to get to a lot of the sites in Lisbon or transportation to Belem. Its location so close to pink street meant we could feel the music from the clubs until 4 am on Saturday and Sunday nights. If I were a light sleeper, it could be quite objectionable.

The host met all of our needs, and the flat had three beds that were ideal for our stay. Additionally, the host greeted us upon arrival and took the time to sit down with us to show us different transit options, offer restaurant recommendations, and answer all of our questions. This apartment is directly on Pink Street, which has a variety of restaurants and bars that were both easy and enjoyable to visit. We enjoyed every minute of it and can't wait to go back!

The apartment is right in the middle of the social scene in Lisbon. It's on the 5th floor and we didn't see any other tenants or guests during our 3 days there. The apartment is in an older building, of course, but it has been updated. There is one full bath and a half bath. It has only 2 rooms with one sleeping area partitioned off from the kitchen/dining/living area. There is another separate bedroom. It has A/C and that was nice at times. It is immediately near Rua Nova do Carvalho, aka the Pink Street, and it is active socially (read "party" here) well into the morning. But, we were high enough that the noise was not bothersome. It is a 5 minute walk to the Cais do Sodre train / subway station and it is 15 minutes or less to every kind of restaurant imaginable. The hosts were excellent. They provide 2 sets of keys so if members of your party go different directions during the day or night, you can get back into the apt. There are also building entrances on the front and back of the building, though we only used one.

This property has an awesome location near the train and metro stations, multiple bus stops, and more importantly… tons of restaurants and fun places to hang out at night. This property is so centrally located, we couldn’t have asked for a better place.
Vera met with us at check in to give us the keys and orient ourselves with the city of Lisbon. She was always available to contact via WhatsApp. We appreciated the weekly cleanings during our month-long stay.
We loved how there was 1.5 bathrooms, a big kitchen table, lots of light in the apartment, and how spacious the apartment was!
The neighborhood can get pretty rowdy on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings… but the unit is on the top floor and the windows do a great job keeping the sound quiet.
We would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a central location, spacious apartment, and attentive hosts!

Pedro's apartment is clean, well equipped to make a simple breakfast which is all you will need because there are so many good restaurants including Time Out Market within easy walking distance. 2 bathrooms for the 6 of us is very appreciated. As the apartment is close to Cais do Sodre metro, train and boat station there are many bus choices nearby.
Small thing Pedro, the air conditioner remote needs new batteries. We loved our stay so thanks for sharing your place.

Great location! Comfortable ! Small kitchen. In the past I had heard that there was a lot of noise at night due to the proximity of the bars. But there was no noise. We all slept like babies !

Great location in Old Lisbon, 5-minutes away from the subway and waterfront. Apartment is very comfortable including A/C. Very near the bars, therefore expect some noise from midnight to 3am.

The apartment is a converted loft office space - Pedro has used his architectural talents to come up with a very liveable space. Don't expect a big kitchen - but there are so many places to war within 5 minutes walk anyway. The washer-dryer allowed for laundry to be done too. Two heat pump units keep the place warm or cool as desired. And the additional half bath reduced conflict too. The rest of the building is currently being rejuvenated, so is work in progress. The location was excellent, with many things we wanted to do within 5-10 minutes walk, bus and team stops within 50 m, and the train and metro within 400 m or so. We'd definitely stay here again!

great location and nice accomodations. host was very accomodating and met us at the apartment.
Close to public transportation, river and on off bus. Catholic church with 1130 Mass on Sunday nearby. Since apartment is in historic district the charm of Lisbon can be appreciated.

Great location, lovely apartment.
The apartment is in a great location, close to public transportation, a bike hire shop and many restaurants. It is designed by a well known architect and is open plan and bright. There is a small kitchen with two hot plates. Truth be told we only ate breakfast there. Pedro and Vera and Luis were great hosts, good contact by WhatsApp, responded quickly. Luis let us in to the apartment and gave us a quick tour and some good advice. You can tell he's passionate about what he does.
I broke a plate there and Vera very generously told me I didn't have to pay for it.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to my friends.

Open airy and close to the water
This was our first stay in Lisbon and we wanted to be in or close to the old part of town. This apartment did meet that requirement and is close to tram stops and hop on/off bus route.
The owners have made an effort to make this renovated commercial space as liveable as possible and the extra amenities and portugese tarts on arrival were appreciated.
The plumbing does not allow for hot water to all sinks.
The small kitchen and portable appliances is well stocked enough to make a simple meal.
The location is in an area described by our taxi driver as the pink district due to it being an up and coming party area for the young and young at heart. So be prepared for some late night and early morning noise.
