Apartment is good for two parties as both bathrooms are only accessible via bedrooms. No balcony.

This property is beautiful! We walked everywhere as it is within walking distance to all of Roma’s treasures. If you are not up for walking, there is plenty of public transportation available. The cafes in the area are great and there is a little market across the street. Monica is the best hostess, very responsive and helpful! She even arranged transportation for our family of six to the airport. My husband left his cell phone in the apartment AND my son left his phone in the van to the airport. Monica went out of her way to help us get the phone from the driver and with the phone left at the apartment, assisted shipping them to us here in the US. She really went above and beyond! I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment. It is elegant, sleeps at least 6, feels extremely safe, and is centrally located. Book it! You will have no regrets! And, Monica is a jewel!

Apartment was comfortable for the short time we stayed. Location is good. Walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and shopping. Unit was very clean. Monica was responsive and kind. She spoke limited English but we all got by :). Bedding was average but for a couple nights worked fine.

Location was perfectly placed to walk to all the notable attractions of Rome! Many great restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

This apartment looks exactly like the pictures. It had extra amenties like soap and shower gel along with two big bottles of water chilling in the refrigerator for us which was really nice since it was so hot out. The apartment was located walking distance to the Spanish steps and the hop on hop off bus. Monica was very helpful and so sweet. I would definitely recommend this place for your next stay in Rome.

Beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment. Owner was very helpful in allowing us to store luggage a couple hours early upon arrival and assisting us with hiring a car and driver for our group when we had to return to the airport

Excellent accommodation; well equipped apartment with plenty of towels, nice kitchen. Small supermarket less than 1 minute walk; taxi stand a quick 4 minutes away. Several delicious restaurants within minutes.

Nice apartment and Monica was very friendly and helpful. She booked our car service from airport and met us at the property. The neighborhood was nice and close to Via Veneto and it was a 15 minute walk to Trevi and Spanish steps. Farther to other locations if walking. The only thing I did not understand when booking is you need to go through bedroom 2 to get to bedroom 3 and to the second bathroom. First bathroom is in bedroom 1which is master bedroom.

We had a great time exploring the neighborhood - walking to restaurants and shopping. It was easy to catch a taxi just a few blocks away on Via Veneto. A small grocery just down the block was convenient for snack.

Monica met us for check-in and was helpful about the neighborhood. The apartment faces an inner courtyard on a quiet street yet is only a few blocks from bus stops. There is a Coop market a few steps away and the restaurant downstairs has good, inexpensive lunches. Overall, the apartment and building felt "tired". The interior of the building could use a fresh coat of paint, the inner courtyard is not pretty, the glass dining room table is wobbly, the bed is soft and starting to sag (still comfortable, though), and the decorative plaque in the shower is moldy.

Communication with Monica was fine, although we used text mostly since we don’t speak Italian. She offered to coordinate pickup/drop off at airport. Location is outstanding. 30+ restaurants within a short walk, small grocery store a block away. Pictures are mostly accurate, great size, but failed to show a couple of things. One is a large head height cabinet in kitchen that hangs right over about half of the sink making working in the kitchen difficult (we both banged our heads on this). There is virtually no counter space so trying to make a meal is exceptionally challenging. Storage is nonexistent - all pots and pans are stored in the oven! Pictures did not show how tiny the second shower is, no shelf to even put soap/ shampoo. Overall the furnishings are a bit tired, couch is not very comfortable, main bed is very soft, pillows are a joke- need to use 5 to get any support. These need replacing. Glass tables everywhere are wobbly and we were warned when we arrived to not lean on the kitchen table as the glass could break. Drain in tub/ shower was very slow and finally plugged up altogether our last 2 days taking 10 hours to drain after a shower. Water would be up to your ankles, gross! I complained and twice her guy put draino down which had little effect, - they clearly never tested whether this fixed the problem. It needs professional attention and snaking. Sink plunger did not work, was “repaired” which like the tub, did not fix the problem. So Monica was responsive to the problems, but her guy who she brought to fix the issues did not repair things properly. I got tired of complaining until the last day. Monica really needs to follow up on repairs to be sure they were done properly. These issues individually are relatively minor but added up over a month long stay. I would give 3.5 -4 stars, but appropriately priced. Would I stay again??? I would have to think about that. If they upgraded furniture and remodeled the kitchen and bathrooms this could be a 5 star outstanding condo.

All in all a great spot, close to everything, awesome restaurant nearby, Monica was very helpful despite language barrier.

It was a great place but the air conditioner wasn’t strong enough to cool the entire apartment. But was a good location.

We thought we'd be taking a taxi more, but we only did it to go to the Vatican and the train station. The property manager, Monica, was amazing. She ordered us taxis and gave us insight whenever we asked. She checked in on us to make sure we had a great time. The only thing to know before you come is Monica speaks little English, but she does her best. But we communicated mainly over text, which was perfect. I wish I knew Italian so we could chat more...our fault. She was so sweet to us. Also, you are in a neighborhood, which is great if you like to be off the beaten path, which we did. If you are looking for nightlife, not the best place. Still lots of amazing restaurants open late though. Such a great experience.

Monica was a great host! She was friendly, helpful and very accessible. She gave us great restaurant recommendations and tips on how to get around as well as organized our transfer to the airport. The apartment is very clean with comfortable beds and bathrooms and is in a great location! very quiet but close to main attractions. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Monica!

Great Apartment, located in a very safe and nice area, with restaurant, shopping, sightseeing on your doorstep. Monica is really nice and helpful. We had booked a driver though her to and from the airport, worked out perfectly. The Apartment is perfect if you travel with children or 2 couples. It had what we needed and was nice and clean. We can really recommend San Marco restaurant across the street ( and around the corner), great food at reasonable prices and really cosy restaurant. We will gladly return Again one day.

The home was lovely and was clean. The space worked really well for us having three young children with us. The location is great because it was not in a touristy area but easily accessible to all the sites in Rome. Monica was a wonderful host. She was helpful in getting us comfortable with the area. She was willing to bring us to gelato on the first night (first thing’s first, of course) and even came over when I couldn’t figure out the washing machine. It was a little walk to the metro stop than we would have liked with the kids, but I would take the trade-offs.

It was a terrible experience from the start because of Monica’s language barrier. Where to start—not listed on the VRBO site were cleaning and occupancy fees, no heat between the hours of 11am -4pm. The photos on the VRBO site could not have been recent...they were recognizable but reminded me of Facebook photos 10 years later— it was shop worn and moderately clean. We had arrived from the US to Rome with a full itinerary. Monica arrived promptly to let us into the property but took much too long explaining things at check in. We were in a bit of a rush to meet our waiting family nearby. I still had hope that this might work, however, when we returned that evening, there was a terrible sewer odor emanating from the 2nd bathroom (there were room fresheners every where). It was late so we closed the door tightly to the master, texted Monica, and fell asleep. She said she’d be over in the morning- it was 1pm when she arrived, she told us there was no odor-believe me, it was terrible, my whole family could smell it. We felt this property was very misrepresented and found ourselves checking into a hotel nearby. I hope VRBO will look into the matter. It’s difficult to be out of the country needing assistance. We have two other VRBO properties booked for our travel this week in Italy and we hope this will be an isolated case. I have used VRBO several times in the US with great satisfaction. As I write this, we have arrived to our Florence VRBO and it is even better than the listing could describe. My parting advice is DO NOT consider booking Monica’s Rome property.
