Lovely hotel. Modern and spacious with a well-appointed room. Comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. Good transport links to city centre via tram only a minutes walk away
We stayed Friday to Sunday night but the room wasn't cleaned on Saturday evening though we were handed clean towels.

BED WAS COMFORTABLE, ROOM WAS CLEAN, and location is great.
OUR SHOWER HEAD WOULDN'T STAY UP. WE HAD TO HOLD THE SHOWER HEAD IN ABLE TO WASH UP. ALSO THE SHOWE DRAIN WOULDN'T DRAIN. WE ASKED SOMEONE TO LOOK AT IT BUT THEY ONLY FIXED THE SHOWER DRAIN.

Hotel was well situated in Dublin, close to two tram stations and only a 15 min walk into the centre/grafton street. Rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable.
When we arrived, we were not greeted even though there were 5 people on reception. We had requested for our room to be cleaned but came back at 3pm to find it hadn’t yet been cleaned. Even coming and going from the hotel there was no hello etc from staff, just felt faceless.

unfortunately the bed mattress was too soft and the duvet too thick-‘an inferno duvet’ and a bent spine. this standard was in two different rooms that I stayed in while in&out of Dublin on a family visit …

Rooms were lovely, loby etc was beautifully done, location is great! Staff at breakfast were lovely and the breakfast itself was lovely!
The bar menu wasn't great, but given the location it's probably not very popular to eat here!

The cleaners never came on our 3rd day there!

Book the family in for a weekend stay to celebrate mums birthday. The team at the Clayton could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. They tweaked room bookings at special request, provided a birthday treat and accommodated is setting up a little family get together in the lobby the day after a party. Special thanks to Raquel for helping book everyone in the way I wanted. A really lovely stay.

Efficient check in and check out
Clean environment especially the toilets
Staff very helpful. Especially Glen at breakfast
Breakfast experience
Upon entering the breakfast area, we were faced with all dirty tables. The table we sat at was cleared away immediately which was good. The breakfast options are good, but the eggs were cold, as were the bacon. The brown soda bread was hard and stale and there was a shortage of big plates for self service hot breakfast.
Clearly, either more staff are needed at breakfast time or a designated supervisor to oversee stock is replenished as required.

little bit expensive compared to the facilities provided
