Location is perfect, pool is nice, wide variety of tours possible and only a few minutes away from the Main Street in Luang Prabang

No Wifi in the room, dogs barking and crying all night, for this price I expected to sleep better.

Friendly staff, very clean rooms, good location.

For me, the hotel feels a bit tired and poor value for money. Maintenance issues were patched over eg damp, door latch was broken, privacy blinds between toilet & bedroom damaged, toilet seat was broken (we mentioned the seat and was fixed straight away but we didn't want to spoil our holiday with a list of issues they are clearly aware of and ignoring). Breakfast was disappointing; one small coffee machine just isn't enough for the number of guests. Breakfast selection limited, not great quality eg orange juice, coffee and insufficient quantities put out so guests were constantly following up for different items which when replenished were quickly taken. When you can walk out the door and get great coffee and pastries at many places in town, product availability isn't an excuse. Watch out for 3% charge to pay by credit card; my main objection is that this is not communicated in advance when you could bring additional cash like we did for general spending in Cambodia/Laos. We only received an email from the hotel on the same day as check in but nothing on the booking.com site and nothing in their terms & conditions and payment info. They removed the charge for me and I recommended they update their hotel booking info for the future but I can see nothing has changed so far.

Could not have stayed in a better location! In a quiet street, approximately 5 mins walk from the morning market, the night market and major sights. Our room was large, clean, comfortable, with excellent a/c and s small terrace leading out to the pool. The pool and gardens are exceptionally clean and well maintained, with beautiful plants, trees, and flowers. The staff at Sunrise Gardens were very friendly, helpful and helpful. Everyone at reception spoke English. They recommended restaurants, places to visit, arranged taxis etc. They were a pleasure to meet and a real asset to the hotel. Breakfast, which was the only meal served there was fabulous! Always a combination of western and Asian food, and wonderful fresh fruits, changing daily. There are also laundry services at the hotel, useful when traveling!

There was nothing to dislike!

The hotel was very tranquil in a beautiful setting. It was also a great location where you could walk to everything in the city. They arranged a driver for us for a day tour, and it was very affordable and worked out well. They had very good customer service.

the breakfast was very limited and you couldn’t order anything off of a menu.

L hôtel est très bien placée dans une ruelle calme à 5 mn à pied du night market. Nous avons eu une chambre plus grande que celle prévue, le lit est très agréable. Les petits déjeuners étaient très bon. Le personnel et le manager sont très gentils et serviables. Si je reviens à Luang Prabang je reprendrais cet hôtel.

La chambre spacieuse, propre et confortable. L’emplacement absolument parfait. L’équipe de l’hôtel absolument adorable et très serviable. La possibilité de louer directement un scooter et de réserver les billets de train avec eux. La piscine propre et fraîche.

La journée, la laverie en extérieur est assez bruyante (mais bon généralement on bouge la journée). Et nous nous faisions réveiller par des coqs chaque matin. Mais l’hôtel n’y peut rien !

조식이 맛있다는 평과 맛없다는 평이 갈려서 걱정했는데 이틀 있어보니 첫날은 그저 그랬고 둘째날은 맛있었습니다. 팬케이크가 포슬포슬하고 상당히 맛있었어요. 웰컴드링크를 준다는 평과 안준다는 평이 있었는데 저희는 받았습니다. (방 준비가 안되어 있는 상태여서 그랬을지도요) 직원들이 모두 친절하고 앵무새랑 연못에 올챙이들이 많아서 아가들이 좋아했어요.

아가들과 함께 하는 여행이라 수영장 있는 곳으로 골라 갔는데 겨울이라 그런지 물이 차가웠어요. 수영장 깊이가 매우 깊어서 구명조끼, 튜브 꼭 있어야 할 것 같아요. 제 키가 180인데 아가들을 안고 있으면 서 있을 수 없을 정도로 깊음...

Zentral zur Altstadt gelegen, sehr serviceorientiertes, freundliches Personal

El personal está muy atento y las instalaciones son limpias y cómodas. La piscina está bien pero el sol no pega todo el día. Es muy tranquilo y hay todo al lado, templos, night market, restaurantes.

The staff went above and beyond. They had some rude guests to deal with, a full booking, and handled everyone with grace. (Not an easy job.) The head manager was super great! The place was beautiful and very clean. The pool was cold but is refreshing after a long, hot day of walking around. The location was close to most attractions and good cafes, but back one street from most of the noise. My friends joined me after 2 nights, so we got a bigger room and it was also lovely. My friends thought the place was fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

There was a bit of a mix up with the original room I booked which initially frustrated me as I had a series of unfortunate events before flying to Laos, so I was already a bit grumpy. They had double booked my room one night and needed to move me around. After I insisted I booked the room at the back on purpose for the quiet, they found me a room that worked. Unfortunately, the previous guest had chain smoked in it and it smelled awful. They tried to cover the smoke smell with fake perfumy cleaner which made it all smell worse. I dared not complain about the smell after I made them give me a room at the back like I wanted, so I just opened all the doors and had to air it out for hours, then it was fine. The only issues were all due to other guests, not the staff or hotel. There was a super loud family staying in like 3 rooms who stayed up all night, shouting and playing music. They disregarded the manager who told them they could not swim late and jumped in the pool in the middle of the night, making heaps of noise. Thankfully, it was only 1 night like this.

Das Zimmer war gemütlich, mit Balkon. Personal sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und freundliche. Hat schnell und problemlos Transporte etc. organisiert. Frühstück war in Ordnung! Pool sehr schön. Die Lage ist wunderbar (Nachtmarkt um die Ecke).

Great staff, nice pool, location was good, room with a balcony although it was not that large.

Average breakfast, room not that large, noisy neighbour..didnt think it was value for money. Rather pricey.

TV was not working

Sehr freundliches Personal, super Lage, schönes Zimmer mit Zugang zum Pool. Handtücher für den Pool werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Beim Frühstück auf Wunsch auch weitere vegetarische und vegane Optionen. Sehr sauber.

Eigentlich nichts, Klimaanlage etwas laut und Beschriftung des Frühstücksbuffets etwas irreführend (Fleisch häufig enthalten, obwohl vegetarische Beschriftung)

Personeel wachtte ons vriendelijk op, hielden de deur open, pakten onze bagage aan, kregen een drankje bij aankomst. Bij receptie kregen we uitleg over de stad, waar we naartoe konden gaan en de aanbevelingen van het personeel.

Ontbijt mocht wat uitgebreider, minder buffet achtig maar meer op vraag. Koffie mag beter.

Spacious room in a great location.

La gentillesse et les attentions du personnel est incroyable. La chambre très confortable et le petit jardin avec la piscine est paradisiaque.

La connexion wifi est st catastrophique, ce qui en soit ne serait pas un problème si l’emplacement de l’hôtel permettait de capter la 4g, mais ce n’est pas le cas ! Résultat on se retrouve sans internet et pour gérer un voyage (les prochaines réservations, se renseigner sur les visites et les endroits à découvrir, la gestion des transports, etc…) ça rend vraiment les choses compliqué !
