The location was good and the flat was clean.

No coffee or tea provided (not a big thing), there were homeless (two) people sleeping outside. No instructions for the WiFi or safe. Staff sent over the code for WiFi but we had to keep our passports and money on us the whole trip due to the safe situation. We were given wrong instructions for the key, so we thought we had no key to the flat. Construction work is going on about 20ft away, we weren't informed about this (big project) number provided to contact staff given. No one picks up the phone or replies to a text message. Good job it was for only two nights.

The location is great, minutes from Puerta del Sol and Gran Via, most of things being at walking distance. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The host was friendly, and helpful.

We missed some bedsheets and pillowcases, and we realized only in the late evening, at bedtime.

Superb location within easy reach of tourist attractions, multiple eating/drinking options and close proximity to Metro. Perfect for short stays without large budget. Comfy sofa bed so ideal for friends.

Perfect place, everything that we need was in there. We love it. If I go Madrid again I would prefer this place for accommodation.

Location was brilliant and the decoration of the apartment was very nice. The layout was great and the apartment was much bigger than expected. We had a supermarket around the corner and restaurants and shops were a stones throw away

The noise. The windows are thin and there is a club on the other side of the road. Road was noisy throughout the whole night even though it was a pedestrian road and construction works started early in the morning

Very good location, at walking distance from the main attractions, lots of shops and restaurants around. The apartment is really nice and has all the amenities. Nice bathrooms and comfy beds too. checking in and out was very easy. Good communication with the manager.

You can hear absolutely everything that happens outside, I could barely sleep, there were people going up and downstairs all night and people shouting in the streets drunk. maybe because it was the weekend? not sure.

The flat and locatiom are great.

It was one of the WORST experience I've ever had. I was traveling with my mom and grandma, and the last night we went to visit some friends, so we came to the flat at 1am. When we arrived to the building and put the code for the entrance it didn't work, I tried many many times and nothing worked, so I wrote immediately to the contact number they gave, which had an automatic reply saying "service was from 9am to 9pm". Madrid is an amazing city full of night life, so of course lots of drunk people in the street and many food places opened, however all of them just to order food and leave, so there was not even one restaurant open to sit and spend all night. It was a HORRIBLE night, as I had to spend ALL night outside the building in the street with the cold of the night, without a sit with my mom and my 80 years old grandma standing till 9am when they finally replied saying, I'm sorry because there was an electric problem with the door. The guy came right away, and of course he was very sorry, however spending all night in the street doesn't fix with one "I'm sorry". Many things could have been wrong that night with me and my family spending all night in the street, thank God nothing happened to us, apart of being awake and standing for 8 hours. They should have had an emergency number, not just one number with service till 9am. They promised to give us back our money, we will see. I had a TERRIBLE experience, and I hope nobody has to go through that ever again!

The facilities were excellent, love it. Next time in Madrid will stay there 100%.

noisey at night time due to the location and construction work outside. no bedding on pull out couch, poor communication from host as to where to find the bedding. 2 guests had to sleep on a pull out mattress with no pillows sheets or blanket. disappointing

Poor / non existent communication with the owner, delay to access apartment because cleaners were there. Such a shame that the communication was so damn poor. No response at all to our messages. I wouldn’t stay again because of this even though the appartement is ok. No welcome pack !

The location was fantastic, everything within a few minutes walk....bars, shops, restaurants, tube station etc The apartment was spotlessly clean. Gouchos tapas bar/restaurant next door is a great place to eat.

Only a very thin cotton sheet on the bed, no provision made for cold nights and we didn't really want the heater on in the bedroom. Very minimal kitchen utensils..despite the fact that we did not arrive until early hours on the Saturday morning, the sheet on the bed was changed sometime on the Saturday but we never had another visit from housekeeping to change towels, bedding etc for the remaining 4 nights of our stay. Two small toilets rolls provided were definitely not enough for a 5 night stay. There is no mop or dustpan and brush so do not know what you would do if you either spilt something or dropped something all over the floor. The nightclub opposite, when open is very noisy, this happened twice during our stay and the loud noise continued until around 06.00....not good for light sleepers. The roll of carpet needs to be taken out of the wardrobe to give adequate hanging space. There is no information book giving advice about what to do in an emergency or who to contact. We contacted the agent twice but it took them a couple of days to get back to us, not very good if suddenly the lights fuse or the water stops running or you need to contact the Emergency services in a hurry

The location is the absolute winner with this apartment - it is a two minute walk from Sol metro station and a 20 minute taxi from the airport. The apartment was super clean and spacious, the shower was fantastic and the beds were really comfortable.

The total and complete lack of communication is awful. I was arriving at the apartment very late, so I emailed SIX times asking how I'd enter the apartment and nobody replied. I received a message when I was at the airport explaining the self check in procedure, but I was worried sick until that point not knowing. PLEASE COMMUNICATE with your paying customers!! It seems like a common gripe. I've booked to stay here again - I have a different question and, guess what? No reply! Useless. It's a shame because it's a brilliant apartment block.
