The property was very convenient to my purpose of being in Rochester and not only was the owner available when needed on property, but it was also accommodating.

There were no real issues that I had with the property itself.

The lack of time being there

Very convenient location - bus to the central Transit Center hub stops a block away. Was able to transfer at the Transit Center for another bus to get to the Lilac Festival, the George Eastman Museum/Mansion, and to Walmart. Two blocks to the right of the house is Subway and The Wok (a Chinese restaurant); two blocks to the left is Family Dollar. Owner is available in house on the main floor. Second floor has two rental units. #3 had a comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV with good reception, and a closet. There was a step-down area with a sofa, chest, mirror and desk. The unit faced a back yard. It was bright with lots of windows and had a ceiling fan. Use of full kitchen and utensils. Can arrange pick up and drop off by owner for $10 each way.

The weather was unexpectedly hot and humid. A portable air conditioner was in the unit, but had not been installed yet. Lots of poverty in Rochester. Approached by homeless for change, but not threatened. Amtrak station is within a 20-30 minute walking distance from the Transit Center, but would not advise walking - number of homeless and suspect individuals hanging out along the route.
