lovely breakfast , nice food / bar thru-out, location is out of the way. At first I was worried, but came to appreciate NOT being near the Hotel Zone ( with traffic, noise, crowds ).

Towel service & quality can use an upgrade. Otherwise, for the price, everything was terrific

Das Essen war eine Frechheit. Habe bei der Bar/Restaurant Hive Pommes bestellt und ich habe Pommes in einer Käsesuppe bekommen…. Das Frühstück war auch eher frech, ein Toast pro Person und eine Schüssel mit Früchten ( die Schüssel war riesig und es waren nur am Boden der Schüssel ein paar Fruchtstücke drinnen.) Keine Auswahl zwischen Kaffee und Tee und der Orangensaft, ich weiß nicht was es war aber kein Orangensaft…

The locations is good, the staff is very friendly and helpful but quite slow to process the check in, the breakfast is included, the room was ample and comfortable, it has good quality amenities and the bed is great. In general is a great deal for a short stay and they offer late check out for a reasonable fee.

The check in is painful and they do not mention about a $100 USD or $2,000 MXN deposit, which is not even the same amount according to January's 2024 exchange rate. They still have not refunded me my deposit, which it seems a bit arbitrary and unusual since in most hotels where they asked for a deposit they refunded it at check out. It feels dodgy that they have not refunded it immediately. I had to asked for an extra towel- the bathroom only had one towel; they send me another one but it was a pool towel. My bedroom was at the first floor next to the pool, is very noisy and constantly you can hear noises from the rooms about ours and from the neighbor's tv.

Positive - rooms are nice and clean. Can’t fault the domestic staff they did a great job. - The bar staff (when available) were lovely - It is walking distance from a 7/11 when you realise the general service and food quality is terrible

Not so good - Location on a main road, not close to town so need a cab to go anywhere and can’t trust cabs (crazy prices). 15 mins cab from airport to hotel was usd80. Nuts! - Noise - door to room is paper (as are walls). And the front of the hotel is onto a very busy road 24/7. The noise does not stop. - Also the photos of a nice pool and bar are accurate however misleading. These are areas that do not get sun. The pool and bars are in the shade and on a 26 degree day managed to be really cold. Oh and there will be no dedicated staff at the bar/restaurant when you’re there. - The evening bar team were very nice, though trying to also do a job other than service. The breakfast and daytime team are rude and inattentive. You do feel like you are annoying them by existing. Awful service and experience. - not the hotels issue, but reflective of the location - the two tours I booked refused to pick up at the hotel - as it was too far for them. - i’ve travelled a lot, and having such a bad experience is really unusual. Please don’t make my mistake and book here! (Unless you need a short term airport hotel - and want to pay the airport taxi prices).

Wir haben eine schöne Suite mit eigenem Pool auf dem Dach gebucht. Das Zimmer war sauber und sehr einladend. Alles was man braucht! Auf dem Dach haben wir uns direkt einen Eindruck von dem Pool verschafft. Hier müssen wir leider ein dickes Minus für aussprechen, weil dieser scheinbar schon etwas länger nicht gereinigt wurde und komplett grün war. Dies haben wir umgehend gemeldet und nach 10 min wurde dieser dann vom Personal gereinigt. Leider konnten wir demnach den Pool zum Sonnenuntergang nicht nutzen. Unsere Enttäuschung haben wir an der Reception kundgetan und hier kommt wiederum ein großes Plus. Man hat uns verstanden und einige Entgegenkommen angeboten- wir haben uns für ein Abendessen vor Ort entschieden, da dies für alle Beteiligten der eleganteste Weg war. Demnach ein sehr guter Service und so, wie es sich der Gast in solchen Fällen wünscht. Vielen Dank dafür. Die Lage ist etwas schwierig, das war uns aber klar. Aber zum runterkommen für den Flug nach Hause perfekt. Schöne Terrasse und ein schöner Pool, lädt auch am Abend ein.

Der eigene Pool war leider nicht direkt nutzbar.
