Beautiful rooms next to train station and bus stops.

깨끗하고 직원들이 매우 친절했습니다. 영어응대가 매우 능숙해서 외국인들이 이용하기에 좋다고 생각합니다. 2박 이용했는데 룸청소및 욕실청소가 매우 깨끗했고 욕실과 화장실이 분리되어있는 점도 매우 편리했습니다. 그리고 일찍 도착해서 짐만 먼저 맡겼는데 그때의 스태프의 친절한 응대가 인상깊었습니다. 아 , 욕실 창이 투명입니다. 하지만 객실과 욕실사이에 작은장지문이 있고 장지문을 열면 왼쪽으로 세면대가 그리고 정면으로 욕실- 화장실이 차례로 있습니다. 장지문을 닫으면 욕실안이 보이지않으니 안심하세요. 그리고 호텔 바로 앞에 24시간 이용가능한 편의점이 있어요"-"

객실이 예상한것보다 좁아서 조금 실망했지만 이점은 설명에 정확한 스페이스의 기재만 있다면 괜찮다고 생각합니다.

Staff, service, location, price, bathroom

This is personal preference but i prefer a firmer (very firm) mattress and softer pillows. Heater took a little while to figure out how to dial in right. Nitpicking stuff is all.

Amazing location right in the middle of Gion, easy walk to many great eateries and close to the subway station. The room was so cute, and we loved the onsen like shower and tub in our bathroom particularly. Bed was the most comfortable we had in all of our stay in Japan.

Loved this little hotel on a quiet street in Gion! We stayed in a queen room and it had beautiful tatami floors and a low bed (not a futon), as well as a very beautifully designed bathroom with all the amenities you could want. There were also several nice extra touches, like the free ginger ale in the mini fridge. The hotel is in a cosy, quiet block but it's only a couple of minutes walk to the main streets in Gion, and a couple more minutes over the bridge to Pontocho. The feel of the location was very appealing and the building was beautiful. If you're planning on staying in Gion this would be a great choice. The staff were incredibly helpful and spoke great English. They arranged a cab for us very early in the morning and helped us explain where we wanted to go to the driver. There's also a small bar in the lobby, though we didn't get a chance to try it.
