Great location for Kyoto and easy access to things. Only downside is the washing machine situation

The breakfast was wonderful! Hard to locate which hotel location after 13 hour flight!

This hotel was very convenient place and design is modern Japanese style, it was very cool in Kyoto.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four-day stay at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kyoto Grande. Very accessible position, 5 minutes to Kyoto station, which means you can quickly reach wherever in Kyoto from there. However, it is quite quiet, so you may sleep comfortably. Breakfast is a highlight, wonderful and filling.Everything is amazing, so we decided to return in the fall. However, I was told that it will close in June. It's too bad!

Staff was wonderful and rooms very comfortable. I will definitely stay at this property again.

Great location easy access to train station and buses plus lots of eating options. Can walk to many temples and Gion area if desired. Safe!

The hotel is at the Kyoto Station, center hub of transportation in Japan. There are many shopping malls and restaurants and landmark places at a short distance. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast buffet served (option) is very good. Hotel staffs are friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

It was difficult to find the hotel in the beginning so better directions would definitely help. I would definitely choose other options in the future.

This Hotel was a very close to the train which was convenient and very nice and roomy. Laundry facility was a big plus!!! Front desk staff was helpful and very nice. Very nice Hotel for the price!

First impression was wonderful. Spacious lobby to welcome you. Check in was smooth. Note that the taxi driver from Kyoto station will NOT take you to hotel as it is not worth their effort, the hotel being nearby. Of course we could walk the 5min to hotel but I had a large luggage bag and one of the wheels broke after 3 years of un-use. Had to drag it to the hotel. Told the reception and she was patient and kind enough to find us a local luggage repair shop nearby. We had the wheels replaced in 4 days, well before we left Kyoto. We liked the laundry room where you can check the status of the wash remotely using a QR code. Only 2 machines though and one machine kept breaking down. Inconsiderate hotel guest left her wash for 3 hours after it ended (you know who you are). Perhaps the hotel could buy a few more machines. Conveniently, there is a 7Eleven next door, many restaurants at Asty Road, food halls in Isetan, large supermarket at Aeon mall, so we ate well after a long day sightseeing. We stayed 8 nights and will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends.

Extremely happy with the location, ease of access, and most importantly the cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general. Will definitely consider going back.

It was a great place, close to the central station of Kyoto, clean, with big rooms compared to Japan. Very good and with view to Kyoto Tower.

Very nice hotel located right near Kyoto station. They let me keep my bag there so I could have almost three full days of site seeing. The rooms were large and very comfortable.

Being an Expedia Gold member they upgraded my room which is great. It was strange that when I stay at hotel and call a front desk from my room, staff greets me first by calling my surname without telling him/her my room number but this hotel nobody ever did. I felt I was not welcome here.
