It was less than 500 feet from the Keio Station, by Lawson and Familymart. The hotel is clean, ran by great people that are accommodating to foreigners. The room was the perfect size.
Nothing, everything was excellent

I like that the cafe downstairs is 24 hours so if you get hungry in the night just go downstairs! There is also a family mart and lawson close by! Hatagaya station is also just a short walk away.
There's not much I didn't like. If I had to choose, I wish the toilets had a bidet function. The step up into the bathroom as well as in and out of the tub were a bit difficult. Just mind the difference in levels.

There is space to put luggage, so it's pretty handy
The sheet is a bit dirty and the air conditioner is a bit noise

Welcoming and arranging staff (they allowed us to park our bikes in the courtyard)
the room was really very small, as well as the bathroom

Small rooms. To be expected.

The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and the room was clean. You could also request many amenities from the front desk, which was very convenient.
During the time of my stay, the hotel was having some construction done on the exterior, and repair on the elevator. The elevator repair was not a big issue, as the elevator was only stopped once for a few hours. However, due to the exterior repairs, the window in my room was covered with a black plastic for most of my stay. This affected my sleep schedule as I couldn't tell when it was night or day. Another issue during my stay was that my room's AC unit was making strange and loud bubbling noises. I just kept the AC off for most of my stay.
I think I am fine with accommodating to some of these things which cannot be avoided, like the elevator repair, but I was very disappointed that the cost was still so high despite so many issues with the room.

The location is great, right around the corner from the train station with many stores and restaurants super close. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The fridge and kitchen was a great bonus and had all the basics you would need for an extended stay.
Beds are pretty hard and shower was very finicky and inconsistent.

Position is good enough, very close to the metro station, which is just two stops away from Shinjuku via New Keio Line. The cafe offers simple meals, for the price the single room with private bathroom is awesome considering it's close to Shinjuku and Shibuya.
The hotel has an 80s vibe, some might find it charming, some less so.

Very close to station, 2 stops (4 minutes) from Shinjuku but a regular inner city residential area with eateries, bars, supermarket, convenience store, 100 yen store. 12 minutes walk from Yoyogi Uehara. Great to see lots of local residents walking on the streets on the weekends. Shows what a walkable city Tokyo can be

Personal is really kind, room is small and pretty dark, but for this price the hotel room is perfect! Clean, yes. And it's really near to the station and to many other places!
Thank you! For cheap trip I recommend this place!

All the staff members were super nice, polite yet friendly. Very helpful as well.
So close to the Hatagaya station, very convenient. The food at the restaurant was excellent.
The hot water system got damaged so we couldn’t take a shower for 2 days. They reimbursed half price each day, meaning a whole day price for 2 days though.
Over all the facility is pretty old. We heard the water running pretty noisy all the time.

The staff was very friendly and it was close to the train station.
The wifi was rather weak except in the cafe.

hotel close to the metro station, very clean apart from one of the towels. the bed was comfortable. there was cafe open 24/7 which is great lots of shops around in the area
the room seemed quite old, the double bed was quite small. the tv was way too small it felt uncomfortable to watch. there was no hand soap. only a body soap. One of the towels the next day had a women hair on it. The hotel service was really friendly and helpful. there was a cafe downstairs that served food and drinks. get it when it’s convenient to use a metro.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is within a couple minutes from the New Keio line, there's a McDonald's, a few restaurants and cafes around the area. but if you are using the Tokyo Metro pass (the 24,48 or 72 hours ones); you need to walk 13 minutes to the Chiyoda line. Overall the location is perfect and surrounding area is quiet . We are a family of 4 , and this hotel is also one of few that offers quad-rooms at a budget price.
Our room at Sakura hotel is very dated :(. The wall paper is peeling off and desk and stools are very old and used. I am sure the staff does a good job at cleaning but because everything is dated , the room does not feel clean. Some area of the carpet has stains. The bathroom is also the prefabricated type, the sink and shower shares a faucet so it was inconveniently if you need use the sink while someone is showering.
