Great location, amazing breakfast, clean bathrooms and rooms, lots of areas to hang out and relax in.

Not the properties fault but not a very social place even with the common areas. I booked my room at a non refundable rate so when my plans changed I was kind of stuck. Also saw that the rates got better closer I got to my booking so I definitely overpaid compared to what I could of got there or at other properties. This is not the properties fault but something to consider Would still recommend staying but definitely book a refundable rate, especially if you’re planning on doing the volcano overnight hike, no need to have a room if you’re not there as the hotel can store your stuff. That was my biggest mistake.

Allt, verkligen allt! Sängen var såå skön, mjuk, perfekt madrass. Jätttefin inredning. Prsonalen supergulliga och trevliga och professionella, hjälpsamma och tillmötesgående. Över förväntan. Allt var väldigt välstädat, hela tiden. Fantastisk rooftop med fin utsikt och underbart att äta frukost där varje morgon. Och frukosten, oh my god, den var helt fantastisk, supermkt god mat, de steker äggen åt en direkt. Vi bokade acatenango hike via dem och shuttle till airport. Och hotellet ligger bra till, nära till allt. Bästa hotellet på länge. Andra gången jag bodde där och kommer definitivt tillbaka.

Allt var topp.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hostel has many outdoor shared spaces which are beautifully decorated with pots of flowering plants. It's very pretty. The breakfast is included and is exceptionally good.

I really do love this hotel! The staff ALL are really kind, smiling and helpful! Everyone, the young ladies who clean and prepare the breakfast, all very kind and friendly, always smiling. The room, the bathroom and everywhere are very clean. The breakfast is really cute and delicious, very special. The terrace on upper floor is beautiful with hammocks, lots of colorful flowers, the kitchen is also very useful. I certainly book this hotel on my very next visit to this beautiful little town Antigua! Thanks all the staffs there!

I already mentioned to the hotel staff that the showers need to improve a bit, the water pressure is quite low and hot water is slow too. Otherwise all perfect!

Super freundliches Personal! Die Unterkunft war zudem extrem sauber, die Toiletten und Duschen wurden super oft gereinigt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Zimmer sind klein aber fein und das Frühstück konnte auf der Dachterrasse genossen werden. Wir waren während unserer Reise dreimal in diesem Hostel und können es sehr weiter empfehlen!

Das Personal ist freundlich und ausserordentlich hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet und ist eine Wucht. Das Haus liebevoll eingerichtet mit vielen Ecken zum Verweilen.

Nur die Plastikhüllen über die Matratzen stören halt.

Amazing location and wonderful staff. Really pretty hostel with lovely rooms and exceptionally clean. Amazing breakfast.

The only thing that bothered us was that our room was a little noisy due to it being in a walk way with a step which lots of people used so it was a little loud. The hostel is a very quiet place though and there is nothing that keeps you up at night, it was more in the mornings when people were getting up early.

Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast (one of the best in Guatemala),, very clean, good wifi. Lovely decoration. 24 hours accessible. Several nice areas to sit outside. We really loved this place, so we booked it again for another stay.

The room was a bit warm as there is no AC.

Heerlijk bed, mooie knusse kamer met traditionele decoraties. Op de eerste verdieping zijn de mooiste kamers. Het hostel was extreem schoon. Het ontbijt was lekker met vriendelijk personeel. Een klein hoekje was ingericht om lekker te lezen op een bank of in een van de hangmatten. Zou dit zeker aanbevelen. Voelde als thuis!

Amei tudo. O café da manhã típico foi excepcional. Os banheiros eram compartilhamos, mas a limpeza era muito eficiente, nunca utilizei o banheiro sujo ou molhado, sempre que alguém usava o banheiro, uma funcionária limpava para próxima pessoa. Era bem decorado e agradável. Localização ótima para fazer tudo andando por Antígua. Por ser agência também, consegui fazer todas as minhas reservas na região com eles e foi maravilhoso, inclusive o tour ao Acatenango Overnight.

Fairerweise muss ich zugeben es liegt ein bisschen daran welches Zimmer man hat, wie man sich wohl fühlt. Die Zimmer unten sind größer. dafür sind die auch sehr dunkel und mit Sicherheit hört man morgens ab 06 Uhr die Küchenfeen die das leckere und reichhaltige Frühstück (top!!!) zubereiten, so dass man ohne Oropax davon wach werden wird. Die Zimmer oben sind dafür kleiner. Wir hatten Nummer 10. Das kann ich sehr empfehlen. Es ist immerhin so groß, dass noch ein Tisch reinpasst und man dadurch weitere Ablagefläche hat. Außerdem liegt das Zimmer am Ende eines Ganges. Man hat vor der Tür einen Tisch mit 2 Stühlen (der ist eigentlich für alle da. Da es aber einige Tische und Eßbereiche gibt, hat man ihn aber fast immer für sich). Von da aus sieht man auf den Vulkan Fuego. Traumhaft! Insgesamt ein sehr liebevoll gestaltetes Hostel mit sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Personal. Sehr sehr sauber! Wasserspender ist auch vorhanden. Die Ladys in der Rezeption vermitteln Shuttles und Touren und helfen auch sonst bei allen Fragen weiter. Duschen gibt es drei: zwei im Erdgeschoss und eine im Obergeschoss. Jede Dusche hat auch eine Toilette. Daneben gibt es zwei weitere Toiletten im Erdgeschoss. Wir waren insgesamt 5 Nächte hier und es war immer was frei.

Es ist durchaus hellhörig. Das dürfte aber in anderen Unterkünften auch so sein.

De locatie is echt heel goed. Het hostel wordt erg goed schoon gehouden en alles is even verzorgd. Leuke zitjes overal en veel planten. Prima ontbijtje dat wordt verzorgd door lieve dames.

Het is echt heel erg gehorig. Ik heb niet goed kunnen slapen. De bedden zijn niet geschikt voor Europeanen, dat hielp niet echt. Mijn vriend en ik hebben twee dagen op de kamer moeten doorbrengen ivm voedselvergiftiging en waren hartstikke ziek. Daardoor moesten we de tweedaagse hike naar de vulkanen die we via het hostel hadden geboekt annuleren omdat we absoluut niet in staat waren te gaan. We hebben helaas niets vergoed gekregen, ook geen tegemoetkoming voor de extra overnachtingen die we hebben geboekt, dat vond ik wel erg jammer.

La posición es muy céntrica y segura. La atención en la recepción es muy profesional y amable. La limpieza es excepcional y constante las 24 horas. El desayuno a bufete es variado y abundante y las chicas que te atienden son muy alegres y disponibles. Estuve en el dormitorio de tres huéspedes, cuyas camas son nuevas y cómodas, pero sepan que el cuarto está literalmente pegado a la zona donde ofrecen el desayuno así que desde la 7 a.m. se escuchan los labores de las señoras que alistan la comida y empiezan la limpieza y ya no se puede seguir durmiendo. Los baños de abajo son inmaculados y limpiados a menudo y las duchas tienen presión y agua caliente siempre. Por MI descuido y MI mala atención en la lectura de los detalles del costo final, repito y quede bien claro que no hubo ninguna mala fe del hostal ni de booking, no me percaté que al precio del dormitorio que ya por su cuenta es el mas caro de Antigua y probablemente de toda Guatemala aquì agregan a parte el 22% del monto final entre IVA e impuestos turísticos así que Yo terminé pagando 58 dolares para dos noches en dormitorio aunque muy lindo...Solamente porque el precio me parece exagerado por ser dormitorio no volvería (29 dolares una noche en dormitorio no es una pequeña barbaridad?! 😊😇🙏). De toda manera me gustó todo a parte el precio.

The staff was super friendly. The hostel was very clean and the location of the hostel was very good. The breakfast was not good, with quite some options every morning. Antigua has a lot of different restaurants, but if you like the hostel has a proper kitchen that can be used

The shower was cold after sunset, I would advise to shower during the day or afternoon. The bed is rather small and not the best.

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt im Yellow House Hostel mehrfach verlängert und mich dort absolut wohl und wie Zuhause gefühlt. Das Frühstück war phänomenal und das Personal so überaus freundlich und positiv gestimmt, das habe ich sonst noch nirgends erlebt. Der Service war hervorragend, alles war sehr sauber und die Hostelanlage hatte alles, was man braucht oder sich wünscht. Ich komme sehr, sehr gerne wieder.

Good breakfast and fantastic location. Absolutely loved the two patios on the roof - soooo beautiful and a great place to relax after adventuring all day.

Great! But book directly once you get there - trying to do so in advance will result in higher prices.

Really nice places to chill/relax, super clean (shared) bathrooms with good hot shower and comfortable beds. Nicely decorated, nice breakfast with very friendly staff. Good location as well.

We’re usually not picky at all, but our first room (no 4) was very smelly and damp (fungal?) and a bit of a disappointment upon arrival after seeing so many good reviews. We had to stay there for one night as everything was full, but it did not feel healthy. I think they should not rent this room until the damp/moist problem is fixed. Both rooms we stayed in were quite noisy. Reception ladies were not overly friendly, esp compared to other places we’ve stayed in.

The hostel is beautiful, the room was clean and bed was very comfortable. We stayed in a double room with shared bathroom. The bathroom was in front of our room and it was almost like it was our private one. Staff was helpful, reacting and super nice. The terrasse has a beautiful view. Breakfast was amazing

Beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast was amazing lots of choice and really tasty, staff were very helpful, bathrooms were cleaned very regularly.

The bedrooms downstairs were a bit noisy in the early morning as you’re close to reception and the kitchen so if you can, choose a room on the upper level.

I love this hostel. It's decorated very cute with 2 terraces full of beautiful plants and lots of sitting areas. You can't beat the location and they have the best breakfasts! And the staff are super friendly!

Rustige plek om te verblijven, prima kamers. Goed ontbijt. Makkelijk te lopen naar ‘centrum’ van Antigua. Personeel behulpzaam bij boeken en regelen van dingen.

- Eerste kamer was wat aan de kleine kant, maar prima. Tweede kamer beter.
