Cosy room (778), nice style and clean.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Fantastic location - very close to the city centre and also to the tram which was helpful getting to and from the airport.
Some small points we noticed:
The curtains had a paint stain on them.
The pillows had ink blotches on them,
The shower water heat was intermittent - it did not maintain a consistent temperature throughout use.

Everything. This hotel is such a surprise and good value. I will gladly stay here again. Bar staff is amazing. Breakfast is really good. Decor is nice. It doesn’t feel like a Marriott. Really well done.
The elevators are a bit slow and you have to use them since the hotel is built into a steep hill.

Location is perfect
No parking, though you can park next to hotel for around £17 per day ( with Marriott discount )

Was near theatre
One staff member come across rude.
Another started speaking to someone who came in after 2 of us had been waiting.
Only one lift working staff and guests all trying to use the same one.
Empty wine bottle and glasses left outside near our door was there from when we checked in till next day.
Bed not comfy at all.
For the price I would expect sachets of hot chocolate or biscuits or something. Not worth the money and would never stay again.
