Barbera Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Barbera. The location is excellent—most of the main sightseeing spots are within about a 15-minute walk, and the tram and metro stations are only a couple of minutes away, which made getting around Istanbul very easy. It was also convenient for getting to and from the airport. The staff were very friendly, polite, and welcoming. A special thank you to Kürşat, who was incredibly helpful. He helped us book a restaurant and gave us lots of useful advice for our daily walks around Istanbul, which we really appreciated. Breakfast is fairly modest, but good, and they make fresh eggs in any style you like. Our room was small, but very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. There was a coffee maker, kettle, bathrobes, slippers, and everything we needed. Just one small note: there was no hand lotion provided. Even though the hotel is very close to a busy tourist area, it was surprisingly quiet at night. The soundproofed windows worked very well, and we slept without any street noise disturbing us. Overall, Hotel Barbera is a lovely boutique hotel with a great location, welcoming staff, and a very comfortable atmosphere. We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it.

Very near to lots of sights

Everything was top-notch, starting with the hotel, cleanliness, location, breakfast, but above all, full praise for the hotel staff who were very pleasant and professional.

Nothing, just stay at this level

Petit hôtel en plein coeur de la partie touristique de la ville, très proche du grand bazar, du Palais de Topkapi, la Mosquée bleu et Sainte Sophie. Proche des transports en commun (tram). Chambres et lits confortables et bien équipés. Petit déjeuner très correct avec des variantes selon les jours. Et personnel agréable.

Les chambres ont été isolées phoniquement, mais l'on entend facilement les chambres voisines. Encore plus le couloir et les portes qui claquent. Donc bruyant selon vos voisins. Mais la chose qui m'a le plus dérangée c'est que notre chambre lit queen size deluxe, qui était censée faire 20 mètres carré, n'en faisait pas plus de 15 !!! Le comparatif avec les autres hôtels lors de notre réservation a donc largement été faussé. J'ai bien évoqué ces deux problèmes à l'accueil, mais sans vraie réponse.
