Ponte Vecchio Suites & Spa

The location is perfect. The hotel is only about 2 blocks from the Ponte Vecchio bridge. We were easily able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. It is close to excellent restaurants and shopping. The hotel is small with only about 14 rooms on 2 floors. The rooms were very large and both comfortable and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed having space to just sit and unwind at the end of the day. Breakfast was also excellent serving a combination of continental buffet and a small selection of made to order items (eggs, etc).

The hotel is small so there is not a bar or restaurant on site, but they do run a nice happy hour every day. There are plenty of close shops and restaurants nearby to buy something for your room. There is an excellent wine shop around the corner!

The staff was extremely helpful! Very friendly, couldn’t do enough for us! Great recommendations when requested. I would stay there again!

Reception staff, breakfast staff and cleaners were welcoming, efficient and helpful. We liked the bottles of water in the room, the macarons and the chocolates. The Nespresso machine in the room was a lovely touch. We received a voucher for an aperitivo on an evening of our choice and were treated to a glass of Prosecco and a variety of delicious finger foods. An unexpected but welcome gesture.

We would have liked to have milk in the room to use with the coffee or the tea. A small magnifying mirror in the bathroom would be an added touch for those of us who need to wear glasses; it helps when applying make up.

Abigail served breakfasts with speed and with a smile. She made GREAT cappucinos! From the moment of our arrival, Olga expertly suggested, submitted, confirmed, changed, and reconfirmed dinner reservations and taxi arrivals. She's a marvel of efficiency and a darling person.

We loved everything.
