Crescent House

We had a wonderful stay. Paul and Michael are so friendly and helpful, they recommended lots of trips and reserved a whiskey experience for us. Crescent House is a beautiful property and the breakfast was so delicious, so much choice. We would love to stay again on a future visit to Edinburgh.

lovely stay, amazing hosts who were super helpful with every little detail, and a really great spot to stay!

This is a gem of a Bed and Breakfast that I am so happy to have discovered. It is run by two amazing gentlemen that pay so much attention to detail, it was hard to keep track of all they did for us. My adult son and I spent three days in Edinburgh and we stayed with Mike and Paul in their B&B. We had a very comfortable room, a bathroom attached and easy access to a shower downstairs as well. The house is amazing. It’s spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, mostly with Mike’s art. The breakfast is tailored, huge and very good. We had a lot of great conversations with the hosts and also got to meet some of their friends. Everyone is so friendly and thoughtful, I feel like making another trip to Edinburgh and staying at Crescent House soon.

This is an amazing old row house, a mansion in its day, immaculately restored and tastefully updated. It’s in an area of town slightly north of the “new town”, off the high density tourist track but still walkable to airport bus and tram and the Royal Mile, also close to the incredible Royal botanical gardens and many good eating options. The owners/hosts Michael and Paul were very helpful, accommodating, friendly, and great cooks. Highly recommend this place.
