Stayed for two nights in room 1. Staff were fantastic. Lovely breakfast on both days. Nice meal sitting outside in the sun. The wi fi was very good which is important as the phone service is non existent in this area. The village is quiet and picturesque.

Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you.

Our short stay was exactly what we needed, and the hospitality was warm and practical without being fussy. Comfy bed, space in the room, cosy sofa and adjustable heating were much appreciated. Some of the facilities were a little ‘tired’ but the owners are clearly working their way through the hotel to get things more up to date. We look forward to a chance to stay again in the lovely setting and enjoy a few days there again.
