Bring the whole group to Pili Mai at Poipu with two private townhomes on Kauai's sunny South Shore: a 3-bedroom, 3-bath Unit A and a 2-bedroom, 2-bath Unit B, five bedrooms in all, two full kitchens, two lanais, air conditioning in both homes, and the resort pool and hot tub a short stroll from either front door.
What we guarantee: Both townhomes are always inside Pili Mai at Poipu and always within a 2-3 minute walk of each other along the resort's flat paths. Unit A is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom townhome and Unit B is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom townhome, with exactly the beds listed below in every bedroom. Unit A's lanai looks across the lawn and tropical hedges to the mountains; Unit B's ground-floor lanai faces the lawn and palms with a distant glimpse of the ocean on the horizon. Both homes are kept to the same standard you see in these photos. If we ever could not deliver that, you would approve the alternative first or receive a full refund.

Pili Mai sits on Kiahuna Plantation Drive in Koloa on Kauai's sunny South Shore, one of the most reliably clear stretches of coastline on the island. Kiahuna Beach is within walking distance of the complex, and Poipu Beach Park - regularly ranked among the best beaches in the United States - is about a mile away and a short drive from the front gate. Poipu Shopping Village, roughly a quarter to a half mile down Kiahuna Plantation Drive, puts restaurants, boutiques and casual dining within easy walking distance. The broader Koloa and Poipu corridor adds Kukui'ula Village for dining and shops, Spouting Horn blowhole, the National Tropical Botanical Garden, the historic Koloa town center, snorkeling with sea turtles at Poipu Beach, sunset cruises from Port Allen, and the dramatic Na Pali Coast a scenic drive to the north.
Getting Around:
Lihue Airport (LIH) is the gateway to Kauai and is about 25-30 minutes away by car. A rental car is strongly recommended for this stay - it is the standard choice for visitors to the South Shore and gives the group the flexibility to reach beaches, trailheads and the North Shore on their own schedule. Rideshare exists on Kauai but coverage is more limited than on the mainland, so pre-arranging transportation or relying on a rental is advisable. The immediate Poipu area around Pili Mai is walkable for beach access and a trip to Poipu Shopping Village, but most broader island exploration will require a vehicle.
