State Plaza Hotel

It was very clean and the staff was lovely!!! I really enjoyed the eclectic/vintage vibe! The cleaning service was FAB too, offering service DAILY when most do not! Left a nice little tip for them :) As deserved!

It was cold… We did get a space heater which worked, but I didn’t love that aspect. I do understand it goes on at a certain time of year, but there should be a way around it. I heard others complain about that too. Not a deal breaker, but to make the raring 💯 positive, there should have been heat throughout the building. Again, the space heater did its job! And staff was QUICK to bring one! Maybe 5:00!

Proximity to the museums. Cozy rooms. Friendly and helpful doorman

Staff and Location

Cost

The location was good, very walkable. The rooms were very spacious.

Could use some improvements, our tub did not drain and was standing in ankle deep water the whole time. The restaurant cooks should be a little more cautious about how the speak especially when they don’t know where customers are sitting. Very unprofessional. The parking is not just limited on site it’s extremely scarce. I lucked out and found street parking but the hotel is 2 separate hotels back to back and if you don’t know what building your in then it’s a headache unloading all your stuff on one side to find out your in the other building.
