The location. was well equipped with everything you would need and very clean.

Emma's house is clean, comfortable and well maintained and feels like a home. The bed was comfortable with good quality linen. The kitchen equipment is of a good standard so it is possible to self cater which is currently more necessary than usual because of restricted hours in bars and restaurants caused by the difficulty in recruiting and retaining staff in hospitality. There are local walks and we saw a deer, hare and rabbits when out walking. When we were there the area was quiet. Emma provides an information folder about the local area which is helpful. She communicated well with us from the point of booking.

When we got off the train Google maps sent us off on a wild goose chase which was unfortunate as the house is very accessible, but that is down to Google maps and not Emma or Booking.com

Beautiful holiday home in a quiet location. Spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need.

Almost everything about Aviemore and this property and its neighbourhood is to be liked. The host was super helpful right from the booking period through check out. Everything about the property speaks of very good quality and attention to detail. Well equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, beds and linens and heating, all so good and made us feel completely at home. This was one of our best vacations ever.

The property was clean and had everything we needed. It was located in a quiet residential area which had a nice grassy area outside (fun for the kids to play in the snow). Emma was very helpful and dropped off some things to us. The Prosecco and shortbread were a nice touch. Emma even posted back a toy the kids had left behind accidentally which was very kind.

All in, everything was very good with the property. The only thing was that the doors were very squeaky which wasn’t ideal when you have two sleeping babies.

Very well equipped and perfect size for a small family trip to Aviemore area. Our host ensured it was super clean, very communicative and even offered flexibility on check in/check out where it was possible.

Not a negative but we did find the mattress on main bed wasn’t quite to our suiting. I did toss and and turn a bit. The second sofa would be nice to have one with a backing on it to make it more comfortable to sit at.

Everything was fine about the property and its location except the problem with Wi Fi. We could not get a signal because we did not have the password. This also meant we had no emails and after contacting Booking.com the problem was not resolved until I checked the back of the router and found the card with the password. I do not like raking around the owners property and the router was not too easily accessible but managed it eventually. Replies re our problem came in by email which was useless to us without access to WiFi. We tried several times to contact the owner by phone but could not get connected for some reason. When we did get WiFi connected, 30+ emails came in, Without router connection we could not get access to these emails. We did ask Booking .com to reply by phone but this was not done. This was the only problem we had with the property, plus her phone number was unobtainable

Lovely touch having various foodstuffs left as well as wine in fridge. Lodge was immaculate for cleanliness. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.👍👏👏 Stayed in these type of lodges in this area twice before but this one has by far been the best.

Fabulous home away from home, well equipped with everything one would need for a 4 night stay, clean & Tidy… great location for the stunning Cairngorm beauty which surrounds the property and all within easy reach. Excellent communication before and during our stay from Emma, ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible, would highly recommend No.82 as a place to stay in Aviemore.
