We had an amazing stay. Donegal is stunningly beautiful. The house was spacious and comfortable, with everything you need (and beautifully decorated for Christmas). Will definitely be returning in the future.

We had a wonderful time! The house was clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas, in the evenings we lit the fire and cosied up to play board games. The house is close to some great walks and to lovely beaches, the local village has a great craft shop and some good restaurants and coffee shops. What a great find on Vrbo!

Lovely house, super warm and cosy with comfortable beds and duvets. Hot water hot and plentiful and open fire very much enjoyed. Furnishings were comfy and enough dining chairs when bedroom chairs were used.
Lovely stay all in all!

Communication with Mary and Tina was great the whole time, plenty of room.
My only feedback is it would be good to have a closed in area at the back as it is dog friendly so they could play outside as it is near a busy road.
The shower in the upstairs bedroom didn’t work on the left hand side but no hig deal and didn’t take away from our stay. The lock on the door was a bit stiff but again no big issue at all.
Wifi was good and everything we needed was there. Thank you Mary!

Such a lovely property. Lots of space and so comfortable. We were blessed with the weather and took advantage of the chairs and table available for outdoor eating. Our dog Toby had the best time, we took a retractable lead which was needed whenever he was outside the property as its not enclosed. This didnt inconvenience us in any way.Location is great for taking advantage of the many wonderful beaches, and scenic drives etc, keep your eyes well trained as its easy to miss the house on arrival, (for us anyway) Only negative is maybe time for a new tv, picture quality is poor. A 5 star property ✨️

The cottage is fantastic value for the rental charge ! It’s very spacious for 2 families of 4 and a dog . It was spotless and the views are just beautiful. It is so peaceful and quiet but also very close to nearby towns .
It was great to have a bbq and garden furniture which we could use .
We will definitely be returning very soon !

As always staying at Ballyboe cottage was amazing, cosy comfortable and close to beach and local villages, the cottage is well furnished and a great place to bring kids and pets. There are a few small things that need repair, the hot tap in kitchen is loose, skirting in some places need attached,
touching up of paintwork here and there, and floor tiles in upstairs en suite loose, a handyman could repair these in a day. Great communication with hosts and kindly left kids some lovely treats. Thank you, we'll be back.

Friendly hosts with lots of knowledge of the local area. The property itself was a generous size with all we needed for our long weekend away. Even though it is pet friendly, the property, unfortunately, didn't have an enclosed garden for our pooch so need to remember extending lead for the toilet breaks. Close to all amenities and ideal spot for exploring County Donegal!

What a lovely weekend break... The house was perfect for our children and dogs. Warm and cosy, lovely decor and kitted with everything you could want! Mary was at the end of the phone when needed and we had no issues with anything. We would not hesitate to recommend the house and would be keen to stay again. It is difficult finding somewhere that allows dogs and is also in a good location. Everything is a short drive away and we really switched off and enjoyed the surroundings.

The cottage is spacious and comfortable and in a great location for exploring this part of Donegal. We visited some beautiful sandy beaches and enjoyed a number of lovely walks. Dunfanaghy village is a short drive away and has a good selection of eateries and takeaways. Ards Forest and Glenveagh National Park are also nearby.

Very spacious, warm, clean and comfortable cottage, in a peaceful location and well located just off the national road network. Fine views over to Tory Island and the surrounding hinterland. Excellent base for exploring the many beautiful beaches in the area and Glenveagh National Park.

Property was in a lovely location, spacious very comfortable. Very good communication with the host up until we left and I pointed out a few problems we had then I didn't get a response. No tea coffee or sugar was supplied, toaster was full of smoke when switched on, thought it was electrical fault but was full of crumbs lots of mould round shower in one of the attic bedrooms also badly cracked tile. Also leaked down the walls into the hallway. Dishwasher could have been cleaner, have taken photographs but have no way of attaching these. I left message with the host but got no response. Lots of dust and dirt around sliding doors, under tables and outside of property a little shabby

A lovely space, we had 3 kids under 7, lots of room for them to run about. Bedrooms were perfect, living space wonderful, great to be able to light the fire (yes even in summer, it’s a Donegal thing). Perfectly placed between Falcarragh and Dunfanaghy. Mary the host provided lots of great tips as to what to do and where to go. All house amenities worked perfectly apart from no key for the sliding doors but with some cows for company on the local farm we and the kids had a lovely warm and comfortable place to chill after days at the beach. Thanks Mary
