the warm welcome from the potters to front desk makes Taj a great place for stay away from home

Our stay at Taj was excellent. We booked through Booking.com almost a year in advance (travelled February 2023) and all was in order with our booking from start to finish. As it was part of our belated honeymoon I wanted to surprise my wife with Champagne and flowers and this was all arranged with the marvellous help of Kobos ( 'K') who arranged all of the above as well as a private car to collect us from the airport. Nothing was too much trouble for 'K' and the expression of delight on my wife's face when she arrived said it all. I cannot thank 'K' or the hotel for everything they did and how much they all did to make our stay memoroable. MR

Everything was world class and, we enjoyed and loved our stay here. The Luxury family suites are perfect for a family holiday. All the staff member are incredible and were very helpful, friendly and super throughout. We spent the Christmas there and it been close to the Adderley street lights just made our stay even more magical.

Wow, what a great stay! I'm so glad we decided to book this suite. It turned out to be perfect for our group of three. We had plenty of space to spread out, and the second bathroom was appreciated. The suite was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for a great stay. The staff at the Taj are amazing. From the door staff and front desk team that was welcoming, and remembered everything about us, to the food and beverage team that was always eager to share ideas about how to enjoy Cape Town. I can't remember the last time I encountered a team that was so eager to make for a pleasant stay. I only wished we had more time in Cape Town!

The city noise, although we did expect this as well having lived in the city for many years.

Second stay here. Everything is amazing. Super comfortable 5* Taj hospitality. It’s just like being in the Taj Hotel, but being an apartment, there are more facilities and it’s ideal for 2 couples or, as it was in our case, three sisters. Far better option than booking two hotel rooms. Nice sitting room and kitchen with loads of appliances and the convenience of being able to prepare meals, although we only used the microwave over for heating milk for coffee! Helpful manager (Kobus) and of course, all the Taj staff are amazing. Great location, highly recommended.

we rented private appartment 406 and was wonderful. plenty of room, balcony, 2 bedrooms, washer dryer, small kitchen. staff were super nice and lovely.

washer/dryer somewhat hard to figure out but we worked with it. under the impression they had car on site for use around town. although they did use it twice for us its not a normal use thing as was prior to covid.
