Stayed at this location for the Metallica concert weekend in November 2023. They are located above Sister Cities Cajun. Fantastic people! Incidentally, they also have amazing food downstairs in their restaurant. The space was huge for the three of us, comfortable, and it was private. We were never disturbed by the restaurant downstairs and it was quiet and peaceful. They are also very kind, accommodating, and easy to work with. You are close to STL and a quaint neighborhood within walking distance (that we actually walked) with shops and other eatery’s. Water pressure is a bit low if you have a bigger party and internet connection is very low if at all but if you’re staying busy or have plans it’s about the same as staying in a hotel. Will 100% stay again and if I need a place to stay in the area, will rent again.

We did not even stay here, this property should not be on rental, the neighborhood was undesirable, the home itself was not in good shape, and the entire area felt unsafe!!!!!

We had a nice time and found a lot to do in the area. The owner is very nice. Only suggestion would be to remove personal clothes and items in the apartment. That was a little weird all else was great.

What a great place to stay. Place was really big and modern in an old building. Close to downtown. Owners were easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was spacious and clean. There are modern appliances and the apartment is comfortable (temperature, furnishings, etc. ). It’s located in the Soulard neighborhood, so it’s close to downtown and has easy access to the highway. In addition, the host is very friendly. We’d probably stay there again, but we’d be better prepared next time. So why 4 stars instead of 5? The bathrooms. There were 2 couples on our trip and we chose this location specifically because it had 2 bathrooms and we wanted somewhere where 2 people could be showering at the same time. Unfortunately, that wasn’t feasible. The low water pressure made it hard for one person to shower at a time and still get shampoo out of their hair. To my preparedness comment, there were no shower amenities whatsoever. No soap, no shampoo, conditioner, etc. We checked in late evening after being outside in 90+ degree heat all day, so it was tough for 4 people to shower with only the small amount of shampoo the ladies brought (guys didn’t bring any shower products, so we had to borrow their shampoo for a full body wash). Needless to say we had to run out to buy soap, more shampoo and we decided to buy toilet paper too since there were only partial roles in both bathrooms and one spare roll for the unit. All in all, the unit is nice and I’d recommend staying. Just know that the only bathroom amenities you will get are towels and some liquid hand soap by the sink. You need to bring everything else.

The apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The location couldn't be better, close to many small businesses and in a walkable neighborhood that also has easy access to the interstate. I would definitely stay here again with family or a small group of friends.
