We've stayed at this complex before, but this was the best condo for sure. You name it, it was very clean, well stocked, easily accessed, and Jean was warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place.

We had a fantastic stay here it was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking easy. The on-site parking is a dream. One thing to note if you have littles, the balcony gets a perfect amount of afternoon sun for mom while they nap! 10/10 would absolutely stay here again.

This ocean/marina view condo is exactly as described. Clean with gorgeous views of the marina and ocean. We never had an issue with street noise. Paul was responsive in repairing squealing triolet, and a super nice guy. Kids loved the lagoon next door, the beach was just past that. There were beach chairs etc. provided. There was enough start up items in the kitchen and bath. There is a little convenience type store in the lobby where we found everything else we needed. I would definitely stay here again.Suggestions I would have for management is an easier way to obtain the parking pass.Laundry was not available/broken on our floor and the floors above/below the entire visit.Using Text to contact Capt Cook instead of phone because voicemail was consistently full and couldnt leave messages.

We were in a fabulous home, not just a place to stay. Comfortable beds and pillows, sleeper sofa's mattress excellent! The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking easy. The beach chairs came in very handy and I was able to get my 3 and 5 year old granddaughters acquainted with the boogie board. Nice options for swimming from heated pool, lagoon, and surf. We enjoyed watching the sunsets from the lanai and actually saw the green flash once! Having a parking space in the basement garage was such a wonderful convenience.

This is a very nice condo, in excellent condition! It has a beautiful view of the Marina and is close to both the Hilton lagoon and the beach. Well stocked with towels and the basics. We really enjoyed this VRBO!

Overall, check-in process was very easy. A little hiccup with the initial door code but Vincent was very responsive and fixed the issue right away. The included kitchen items helped a lot to have family dinners at the unit and it was a good place for resting between excursions. Air conditioning units worked fantastic. There were minor issues with the toilet lever we were overall very satisfied and would recommend this unit.

Perfect spot! The unit is even nicer (and larger) than it looks in the photos. Super clean. Well equipped. Beautiful view. Absolutely no complaints. Nice building (great local ice cream shop!!), clean, lots of resources. Covered, secured parking was icing on the cake. Paul was always available...but never needed. Would definitely stay here again!

We love this area of Waikiki and chose this property mostly for the location... WHAT A GEM WE FOUND!!! This property was fully furnished with QUALITY furniture, items and very clean too! Everything in the kitchen (frig, ice maker, stove, microwave, plates, glasses, pots/pans, coffee maker, utensils, bowls etc.) were solid. Sheets, towels, blankets etc were very clean. Unit included some beach chairs and boogie boards. View from large lanai that had lots of guest seating was breathtaking. Parking space included was a huge bonus too!One comment - there is no washer/dryer in the unit. While we did know that up front, it was quite inconvenient because we were staying for 2 weeks. I felt the property should have considered providing a second set of clean towels (the ONLY thing that I had requested!) at the end of the first week. Otherwise, everything else was pretty wonderful!

This Vrbo was perfect for my family of four to stay in for four nights while we were in Honolulu. The pictures shown accurately describe the unit. The beds weee comfortable along with the pillows. The ilikai was a perfect location. We had iced coffee every morning from Hawaiian Aroma Caffe down in the courtyard. We also had breakfast one morning at the Pesca Waikiki Beach on the top floor of the ilikai. It was more reasonably priced than Cinnamon’s Restaurant in the courtyard. And our waitress even gave me a tour of the whole top floor of ilikai, including the wedding rooms and I took photos of the view! (Take the outside glass elevator up to the Pesca.) in hindsight we did not need to use the parking space that it part of this unit. We either walked or used Ubers to get around Honolulu. However it did cost us ~$60 total round trip for Ubers back and forth to Pearl Harbor. We used Aloha Shuttle both times for the airport and so reasonable, good communication, and on time shuttle service. Be sure to look at the Captain Cook Resorts website before your stay. We twice used/carried the beach chairs and the beach towels provided in the unit.
I recommend this unit and staying at the ilikai when you’re in Honolulu.

Beautiful 2 bedroom condo and very spacious and great view - Loved the great location near Ala Moana Park and Shopping Center. Close to all our favorite eating places, especially Wailoa Store for the best shave ice in the world!! Make sure to make reservations ahead of time if you want to eat at Katsumidori Sushi, Ginza Bairin Tonkatsu or MW Restaurant. If you want to eat at Tonkatsu Tamafuji, you may have to make reservations 3 months in advance. Just sad to have to leave Oahu to come home to cold weather.

We absolutely loved our stay. The pictures accurately represent the room (other VRBOs don’t). It was clean, well maintained, roomy with comfortable furniture. The couch bed didn’t have springs like most which made it very comfortable. The view of the harbor is beautiful. It’s right next to a public man made beach pond which is right next to the ocean beach. It’s great for kids because it’s sandy whereas the beach is rocky. You can rent toys there. Food trucks come and there is a DQ right on the beach. The location is excellent. The parking was tight, but simple to access. Consider a smaller vehicle if you can. It will make driving and parking easier on the island. We had an standard SUV and it was tight. One thing I would recommend visitors who want to cook, use a grocery service to deliver your food. Parking and grocery shopping was a big challenge. The property manager was great and always available for a question. Excellent stay - 5 stars!

The beautiful condo (Ilikai #1239) was even better than the pictures! The view over the Kewalo Harbor was magnificent with radiant sunsets every evening. The condo was well equipped with sufficient cooking and serving utensils. There was plenty of closet and storage space. Both bedrooms had adequate space and privacy, with access to the large lanai. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The interior living space and seating were adequate for four adults and the TV and WIFI systems both functioned well. There was plenty to see from our lanai. Expansive ocean views, magnificent sunsets, people watching at the harbor and on the Ilikai outdoor deck. Our unit included parking and that was very convenient and saved us a lot of money. The Ilikai condo/hotel provided outdoor entertainment twice a week (live Hawaiian music and hula dancing and live music and dancing). The condo was quiet at night.
The amenities at the Ilikai were fine. There are two restaurants, plenty of outdoor deck space, sundry shop, ice cream store and other amenities. The one exception was the pool area. There are two pools. A wading/lounging pool and a regular swimming pool. Both pools in our estimation are not big enough to accommodate the number of guests/rooms in the building. They pools are currently restricted due to Covid rules, but even when not restricted, we could see this as a concern for those who are “pool people.” It was not an issue for us during our stay, but again could be for those who want a luxury pool/spa experience.
Finally, the property is managed by the Captain Cook Realty and out interaction with them could not have been better. After finding this property on VRBO, we dealt exclusively with Cpt Cook Realty, and it was a pleasure. From the outset, the office staff was knowledgeable, helpful and responsive. Once we arrived, we had an assigned property manager (Paul) who was exceptionally responsive and helpful getting us checked in and settled into the condo. Initially, we had one small maintenance issue and Paul came within the hour to get it right. If you decide to rent this property (or any in Waikiki) we would recommend you go directly to Captain Cook Realty.
Start to finish this was a great trip and a wonderful stay at a fine property!

The beautiful condo (Ilikai #1239) was even better than the pictures! The view over the Kewalo Harbor was magnificent with radiant sunsets every evening. The condo was well equipped with sufficient cooking and serving utensils. There was plenty of closet and storage space. Both bedrooms had adequate space and privacy, with access to the large lanai. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The interior living space and seating were adequate for four adults and the TV and WIFI systems both functioned well. There was plenty to see from our lanai. Expansive ocean views, magnificent sunsets, people watching at the harbor and on the Ilikai outdoor deck. Our unit included parking and that was very convenient and saved us a lot of money. The Ilikai condo/hotel provided outdoor entertainment twice a week (live Hawaiian music and hula dancing and live music and dancing). The condo was quiet at night.
The amenities at the Ilikai were fine. There are two restaurants, plenty of outdoor deck space, sundry shop, ice cream store and other amenities. The one exception was the pool area. There are two pools. A wading/lounging pool and a regular swimming pool. Both pools in our estimation are not big enough to accommodate the number of guests/rooms in the building. They pools are currently restricted due to Covid rules, but even when not restricted, we could see this as a concern for those who are “pool people.” It was not an issue for us during our stay, but again could be for those who want a luxury pool/spa experience.
Finally, the property is managed by the Captain Cook Realty and out interaction with them could not have been better. After finding this property on VRBO, we dealt exclusively with Cpt Cook Realty, and it was a pleasure. From the outset, the office staff was knowledgeable, helpful and responsive. Once we arrived, we had an assigned property manager (Paul) who was exceptionally responsive and helpful getting us checked in and settled into the condo. Initially, we had one small maintenance issue and Paul came within the hour to get it right. If you decide to rent this property (or any in Waikiki) we would recommend you go directly to Captain Cook Realty.
Start to finish this was a great trip and a wonderful stay at a fine property!
