have stayed before and like the property being spread over 3 levels and children’s extraa

multiple things still broken that I had reported a year ago, including the travel cot which caused a lot of problems

The property was well located, spacious and had a useful range of products and facilities to use.

Some of the equipment in the kitchen needed servicing and was not always reliable.

cleaners were late so we had to wait for them to finish before we could check in so only got into the property after 9.30pm. no communication whatsoever from the owner. could not get hold of him by telephone or email. unacceptable and no apology or explanation. booking.com have tried to fob me off with a voucher to use in the future - will never use them again!

everything was great

The house was in a great location and was a good size. There were areas of the house that needed some TLC. The main bathroom there was no shower screen so we had to showers in the en suite. There was a missing door on the dishwasher and some of the door handles were broken. The downstairs toilet was particularly bad, if the door had been closed from the inside it may not have opened. Also my 6 year old son was in one of the bedrooms, he opened a top drawer in a chest of drawers and the whole unit fell on top of him. Luckily someone was in the room with him and was able to rescue him. If it had been a toddler it may have been more serious. On the whole the we had a good stay but we were out everyday if the weather had been poor I wouldn’t have been comfortable staying in the house for longer periods.

The property was tired in places. Door handles, missing dishwasher door and cracked tiles in the bathrooms.

It met our needs and more for the weekend and was well stocked regarding kitchen equipment and utensils. Lovely ground floor living area...bedrooms are great. We'll be back.

A couple of cosmetic maintenance points to look at... Cracked floor tiles in top ensuit bathroom. Broken toilet roll holder in ground floor toilet. Glass shower screen on middle floor coming away from the wall. Nothing major that would spoil our stay.

Kitchen is very good for the family with little kids.

House needs some care, some handles were broken, also a lot of "cheap" stuff, like kitchenware of a low quality, door handles are broken, wardrobes are not 100% in shape.
