Perfect location and set up.

The apartment was bigger than expected but still cosy and peaceful. In a great location and very near to the town centre.
Generally very clean apart from the kitchen. I had to wash everything before using.

Have stayed in the Ranald a few times now - the apartment is in a brilliant location, and get an excellent amount of space as well as fridge etc, and a comfy couch and TV area, which just makes it that bit homelier than a hotel. Very easy to check in and out.
Would prefer a double or king size mattress, rather than two singles pushed together, but this isn’t a big deal. Late check out options would also be fab. These aren’t things that would put me off returning though and I have actually booked again already.

Clean and comfortable. Little lounge/kitchen area with comfy sofa and decent sized tv. Comfy bed. Lots of space to hang clothes with plenty hangers. Really well located for central Oban.
Apt was upstairs 2nd floor, no lifts. Communal corridors a bit utilitarian. No toaster.

Apartment was close to the main drag amd lots of shops. Couch, table and chaids all fine. Cute decor, lots of extras like coffee and tea. The staff were impeccably kind and friendly.
The bed was a NIGHTMARE. The seams of the edges lined up in the middle so my boyfriend and I could not sleep next to each other. The outer edge of the bed was smashed so my boyfriend was constantly falling off the bed. Amd the mattresses themselves were hard as a rock. The duvet was not attached to its cover, so all thru the night the duvet part would bunch up in themiddle leaving me withonly its cover. We loved the stay otherwise but REPLACE THE BEDS!!

The location was excellent and the flat is small but cozy. Perfect for a couple of days exploring the area
We had a few issues with the shower and the fridge, but all was sorted out in the end

Property may not be most attractive from outside above retail shop but once inside from entrance lobby, stairwell and apartment all very good. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had all the features described on the website site. Keys are collected from hotel reception a few doors down. Centrally located within walking distance of all shops and restaurants in Oban. Some metered parking on street and nearby.

Location fantastic, close to train station and just back from the harbour, easy walk to tesco. Clean and modern apartment with great amenities, stove,TV, microwave etc. Easily the best stay I've had in Oban.

Good location and parking close by. Easy to fond and get keys. Reception staff very good.
Apt was run down,,dirty and bed (and bedding) uncomfortable. There was dried substances (unknown what) on the wall right beside bed.....disgusting. Looked someone had sneezed on the wall. No soap in bathroom. Waterdowned dish soap so unsure if dishes were very clean. Could have used some info on how hot water worked etc.

Staff, location and well appointed spacious apartment
The lobby smelled terrible, the floor had clearly just been washed with a dirty mop and stale water. Permeated the whole apartment block and into the room.

2 bedrooms, kitchen with washing machine and dryer. Friendly helpful owner.
Parts were quite old and in need of repair. Not as clean as I would have liked.

Fresh, modern furnished, spacious and well-equipped apartment located within short walking distance from the town centre and amenities.
There is limited, not too distant but quite expensive public parking.

Good location and view - note it is 3 floors up via the stairs
Shower was awful, either scalding hot or cold and shower pressure really poor. We'd just stayed at 5 different campsites on the islands and every one of those beat this one out by a mile. Was disappointing to finish a camping trip with a barely useable shower for £144! Wouldn't stay again unfortunately.

located on a one-way quiet street
not sure why they call it "apartment", as it is basically a small studio with a divider, the result being two very tiny spaces.
couldn't get our two rooms on the same floor, with two-month advanced booking.
entered the room in our absence and took out the furniture, with two hours before the check-out time. without any notice whatsoever.

The sofa bed in the living area was broken. Had to prop it against a wall to stay up. Very uncomfortable to sleep on when opened. Big dent in the middle. Overall occasional furniture tired.

Parking was a bit stressful and not easy to get.

The property was lovely, has everything you need, very central, easy to find and close to everything you want in Oban.
the pull down sofa bed is a bit dodgy, if you lean too far into the wall you will be on the floor! I speak from experience. Lack of parking was an issue I hadn’t factored in before hand (my issue more than theirs) it just a heads up!

It's close to the city centre
The room is actually much smaller than the pictures showed. So don't expect an actual apartment, it's more like a suite.

Had everything you need - sofa, TV, table, hob, oven kettle, biscuits, hot choc. Comfy bed. Great for self catering as a base to explore other places from Oban.
Just a bit dark and not very welcoming. Bit stuffy - shame balcony door didn't open. Not much lighting - not very functional. Corridors a bit shabby - could do with a freshen up. Stains on sofa. Very functional - just not the most exciting or memorable of places.
