The staff was so nice and helpful. We felt very welcomed. The hotel is so central, it’s very comfortable. Everything is very clean and in good quality. The breakfast is great at a very nice view on the 6. floor. We loved our stay at the hotel! Thank you so much!

Beautiful hotel! Staff are very helpful and friendly. We were given a free room upgrade for no extra cost and even had our airport taxi organised for us at a cheap price. Due to our flight being early, the staff organised a takeaway breakfast which was delicious! Room was spacious and very clean. Location is also perfect! I would highly recommend staying here!

Good location. Included breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful - we had an issue with our air con & safe in the room & they worked quickly to resolve it. Free bottles of water in the room.

The bed could have been better, essentially it's a mattress on the floor of a raised platform, so it was a little on the uncomfortable side. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for older people who have issues getting low to the floor.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Would 1000% recommend this place to anyone visiting Hanoi, if you like to party (location is very very good and walking distance to most drinking spots) or if your with a family (very quiet and kid friendly) this place is perfect and we had the best time here. Great breakfast menu, clean rooms and the friendliest staff who always check in with you and the manager Jackie was so helpful with planning are next part of the trip. Overall no down sides at all.

As soon as I got to the hotel every member os staff I met was so friendly and welcoming. Cabrina was main one looking after me and she was very kind and caring. She gave me lots of recommendations for things to do and was willing to help with any queries I may have had. Every other member of staff (including the hotel manager!) stopped to talk to me and ask how I was, if I enjoyed the room and how I slept. Wish I had a reason to go back to Hanoi so I could stay again!

Nothing, it was all perfect.

Everything at this hotel was perfect! We got a free upgrade on our room and the room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean and spacious. I had an issue with an ATM withdrawal and told the staff who called the manager in to help me sort it out and he even called the bank for me. I had my birthday while staying here and the staff surprised me with a lovely cake. Breakfast was delicious with loads of different food options with good coffee, fresh juice and fresh fruit. All the staff speak good English and were super polite and friendly. Honestly couldn't ask for anything more, we stayed in 4 different hotels on our trip to Vietnam and this one was the best one by far!

The Hotel is directly in the beste place of Hanoi Old Town, very clean and comfortable. Everyone working at La Selva Hotel was very friendly. The hotel manager „Jackie“ helped us with planning the next days and organised a very good tour to Sapa and Cat Ba. He also was available via WhatsApp and also took care of us, whenever he had a question. We can highly recommend to stay at La Selva hotel! The next visit in the future will be at La Selva hotel for sure!

The location is perfect. Right in the middle of the busy old quarter of Hanoi yet quiet. Staff are great. Mark was professional and helpful. Wish him all the best!

Everything is really good

The staff was exceptional!! They took care of our every need. The hotel is fresh and clean and well appointed. It is in a fantastic location in the Old Quarter. Somehow the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood just drifts away when you enter the lobby. The manager Jackie and his staff will bend over backwards to take care of any needs you might have. Highly highly recommended

The hotel is located near the lake and in the 36 corporations district. So it is very easy to walk around. Our room was comfortable. We particularly loved it because our bed were installed on a sort of stage, making it higher than the ground. The breakfast was good and tasty. The best thing about the hotel for us was its amazing staff. First of all, they were always smiling and nice. They shared with us a lot of advice about restaurants and places to visit. They also helped us to book several activities and transportation. They were very helpful and informative and attentive to our needs.

The only thing that we liked less was that we thought the floor of the bathroom was not 100% clean.

That was a wonderful trip I have ever had. I'm pretty sure that i will come back here again next time. Love all the staff here because of their hospitality and friendliness. The room is so comfortable. Breakfast is really good. Thanks Ms.Hannah for full package to Halong Bay, Ninh Binh, Sapa, ...and also transportation during my trip, really appreciate that. Great location in the centre of Hanoi near Hoan Kiem lake. We stayed for 1 night before joining a Ha Long bay cruise and had booked a standard room, which had generously been upgraded when we arrived. The staff were very friendly and helpful with lots of information available at front desk. Breakfast was served a la carte but there were plenty of options, I went for the Pho which was delicious. Bed was comfy and the room had everything we needed for the night.

Very good location, central to the Old Quarter and near Hoàn Kiém Lake. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, we asked to book airport transfers through them which were very efficient when we had to make changes. During our stay our breakfasts were served a la carte, which were great and fresh.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Best breakfast of all the hotels we stayed in whilst in Vietnam. Comfortable beds and adequate for our needs staying at the beginning and end of our Vietnam vacation. Rooms are on the small side, however we knew this to be the case so was not an issue. Fantastic central location in the old quarter, close to Hoan Kiem Lake and the weekend walking area. Excellent value for money and we highly recommend to anyone needing one or two nights in this most favourable location.

The staff were all nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with many choices. The location is excellent, right in the middle of Old Quarters, and yet it was not noisy at all. Lots of good restaurants & other places to eat nearby.

The room is too small for a king-size bed. It would be perfect if the bed was a double bed so to give more space to move around.

This was our second stay here and we couldn’t fault it. They had our bags waiting in our room for us after we got back from Halong Bay and as always the breakfast was fantastic!

loved staying here, the room was really pretty and had a cute view overlooking the street. the roof terrace where breakfast is was a nice touch :) in a great location, I was able to walk most places.

Very small rooms, the basic room is too small. The one we booked was big but relatively expensive and still smaller compared to others in the same locality

The staff, in particular Honey, were very helpful, and Jackie's help to book a trip to Ha Long bay.

The pillows were a bit hard, but that's a personal preference.

I do commend the staff and owner for their polite, courteous and friendly manner at all times - this was excellent. The staff are also good at arranging things you may need - such as a taxi which was also very punctual. Communication before and during the stay was also excellent. The hotel is exceedingly well located in the old town and close to the lake and only a short walk to most attractions/places of interest. The hotel is also well priced.

I had to unfortunately give a low score as to be honest- the "Delux King Room" was dirty, mite infested and nothing like the pictures (I included some myself here). The scale of tbe infestation was enough to describe it as a health hazard. We had to use bacterial Gel to wipe down all surfaces which were genuinely infested with tiny dust mites. We had to report this the next day after, thinking we had killed them all, they were abundant again. We left some food on the table and an hour later - there were mites all over and inside the packaging. By our final night, my body was covered in tiny and itchy bed bug bites also. The floor - looked filthy and I had to clean my feet everything I got into bed. The room itself - the walls were bizarrely painted in streaky grey paint that was not only drab, it looked like a child had tried painting it with an insufficient coating, with some deeper patches of a darker colour too here and there. The pictures I attached here don't go nearly close enough to showing this - but it can be seen. The window -- no privacy at all as it looks out directly onto another room window just 3 feet away. I would have liked to have scored better in this review as the staff are so helpful and polite, but in my view tbe room was a very unhealthy place to stay. (Hard to see in the picture I attached but tbe tiny specs in tbe pizza box photo are tiny mites from off tbe table).

The location is good, you can walk to many attractions. I like the room design. It is small but comfortable. The breakfast is on the top floor from where you have a good view of busy Hanoi street corner.

Stay a few nights and at the end even want to leave earlier because the room feels too humid and a little cold. I have a window, but it faces a wall, no fun.
