Beautiful tranquil setting. We received an upgraded room for no apparent reason, we had awesome champagne; (sorry the Frenchies) tasting at a designated setting. This was followed by us having the most sumptuous meal incredibly well prepared.

We loved everything about our stay! The Steenberg Team went above & beyond to make our engagement stay special and memorable. By far the best experience and stay we’ve ever had. Thank you!

I liked everything about Steenberg, it is honestly the best place I have ever stayed . The service is exceptional , The duty manager Carmen who assisted me and my friends is an amazing soul and definitely an asset to Steenberg hotel , she made sure our stay was comfortable. The ladies at reception are fabulous 👌 . We received room upgrades which was a nice touch and made my birthday much more special. I have found home at Steenberg, im definitely staying there on my next trip to Cape Town.

This is an exceptional hotel with most professional and dedicated staff who could not have been more charming. The room was stunning - we were very graciously upgraded as we were celebrating a significant birthday but I am sure all rooms here are wonderful. The bed was exceedingly comfortable. We ate in the restaurant two nights and had room service on the third - all truly delicious food. I am already saving up to stay here again next time I am in South Africa!

It didn’t offer the luxury I expect from a five star resort. Small things that added up. We were offered an upgrade to a room that did not compare to the pictures online, not modern at all. They then offered us our original booking. As it being winter we wanted a fireplace and spa bath. Unfortunately the fireplace didn’t work in our room. It lacked the decadence of a five star stay in that price range.
