Very friendly and helpful staff - great location - comfortable stay

Room a bit small for 3

It is very close to main attractions. 1 minute walk to metro station when needed. It is very clean and the building seems new. The staff was very friendly and nice; always helpful. There is a rent a bike store near by :) They serve 5 different plates that you select one for breakfast. We tried all during the stay and each was very yummy.

Everything was pretty well.

Comfortable, sparkingly clean rooms with an excellent, varied breakfast. Devoted, respectful, friendly staff.

Some rooms have no daylight, which combined with the brown/grey color scheme of the rooms is quiet depressing. At week-end and festivals, prices are quiet steep.

very small and crowded rooms. Room weren't cleaned once in 4 days, only garbage was collected and towels changed

The room was clean, quiet and most importantly, cool. We took advantage of the in-house Shiatsu massage service, which was also wonderful. Enjoyed our welcome drink on arrival, and when we checked out we were permitted to leave our bags at reception for the day and relax for as long as we needed in the hotel's lounge. Walking distance to Kyoto Station, would recommend.

The location is very good.
