The place was clean and the staff was friendly.
It's not in the best neighborhood.

The breakfast was nice and freshly prepared for us. We were even given a lunch bag when we had to leave early for a day trip to the carribean. The service of the staff was outstanding.
It is a little bit off so you have to get an Uber (or InDrive) but the are super cheap. The area is not the safest but inside the hostal the atmosphere is very good and makes you feel welcome.

I was a little surprised to learn that breakfast was not included. When I booked it, I thought it was. But that was not a problem.

To not be in the front room...close to streeet.

Not sure area was safe. Lots of gates and bars on windows. Good for the night we needed it before a cruise
