Lovely room and had a great roof terrace. It all felt very personalised and the staff were great.

A bit far from the town centre but tuk tuk is easy enough. The dinner we had wasn’t great.

I stayed at The Almond Tree for a few days with a friend and everything was fantastic. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and the staff was extremely responsive, kind, and accommodating. Whenever we requested anything, it was at our room within minutes. The staff also took a particular interest in ensuring that our stay in Jodhpur convenient and helping us get book any services we needed (transportation, tailoring, etc). We also really enjoyed the food during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh and our dinner on the rooftop with the view of the palace was fantastic. We even enjoyed the backdrop of a beautiful firework show from an event that was happening at the palace that night. Our stay exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again.

The building is absolutely stunning. They have spacious rooms. There is a beautiful terrace. The location is right next to the palace and the terrace overlooks it. The kitchen has good portions and prices for food. There are also books in English and board games available for guest use.

I expected a formal hotel but this property is actually a guest house/villa. Thus, a lot of hotel facilities such as gym, bathrooms, and clerks to meet you on arrival isn’t there. When we first arrived we were a bit taken a back. Hotel’s towels were rough and the wifi is so bad it is pretty much nonexistent. To be fair most hotels don’t have good wifi because of the city’s location.

The large house converted to a 'Hotel' was well maintained and is in a good location.

The rooms and the overall hotel itself was a bit dull as the walls in the hallway and common areas were pretty blank. Am sure they can make it a bit more lively with some paintings, etc.

The room was beautiful, clean, and had incredible views. There is a rooftop where you can have dinner and sit around with drinks. They also have a gorgeous swimming pool to swim and sit by when it’s too hot to go out exploring. The staff were all so friendly and helped me when I was sick. The owner let me use his personal driver to take me to the doctors and one of the staff members stayed with me to help translate. They look after you so well here, helping you book anything you need.

It is a 15 minute drive to get anywhere. The property is located in a new residential neighborhood that is really inconvenient for those who wish to explore Jodphur on foot. The breakfast is very limited.

The room is extremely clean and comfortable and the hotel is an amazing place to relax as It's quiet with a nice view of the city. The services and food have a fair price and the staff very friendly. Highlights to Chetan that really helped us with information, driver and tours before and during our stay. Strongly advise the stay there 😊

Chetan Bakshi and his team were excellent hosts, very accommodating, extremely helpful. and friendly, they instantly made us feel at home. The hotel is beautiful and the room we stayed in was well beyond our expectations. The food was lovely and whatever we needed we only had to ask. Would highly recommend staying here!

You do need some form of transport to get around, but that's not really a deal breaker, as the team will assist you with whatever you need.

It's not a hotel. It's home stay in private road. No transport can be found out side. Pool is very small and dirty. No fridge in the room. Very unprofessional staff. WiFi connection is very poor. Its misleading on booking. Com . I will not stay here and will not recommend to anybody with this kind of price they are charging. Its home stay and should be advertise d as home stay, not as a hotel. And no way near its 4 star. It should be given 3 star.

Rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Essentially a large bungalow. There is a swimming pool as well. No restaurant on site, caretaker and staff will prepare food , surprisingly Indian food was very average, Pasta was much better! Staff is very nice and helpful. Location is very calm and quiet,close to the Umaid Bhavan Palace. Close to Airport also. Great value for money.

The room was big; the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The breakfast was tasty, and they had fresh fruit options, which is always a plus.

There was no hot water, so we had to shower with cold water. I'd recommend adding a heater.

This booking was an extension of our first one, so I repeat my comments here: We were invited to a wedding so we planned our first trip to India. And we booked our hotels in advance, following the recommendations of Booking.com. The expectation was “a hotel”, but what we got here at the Almond Tree was so much more: A calm and cosy place with a beautiful room, excellent food - as a candle light-dinner on the roof-top at the first evening -, and a friendly, supportive team that helped us with all the questions we newbies had. A little outside the city, but just minutes away with a tuktuk or taxi. As we feel we should come with a little more time, we definitively will stay here again.

The staff were very helpful. The location of the place gives it a very peaceful and serene ambience and the view is wonderful. You will have to let them know in advance about your food and they freshly cooks it. The place is very well kept. A good place to stay in Jodhpur with family or friends.
