there is nothing around and miles out of the main area of bangkok like 40 mins car ride

I like this place. It's a great place to relax. The food at Skyview is delicious and the atmosphere is nice. The rooms are comfortable and there are staff on standby all night.

Staff didn't understand my simple request for extra shampoo and conditioner.
What was there was hard to see.
The wife and I showered with water only first morning until I found , soap Shampoo and conditioner.

Sky view restaurant. Bed was comfortable.
Portions in restaurants very small had to go to KFC after. Also 185 baht for a small beer.

It is close to the airport. The staff at reception were nice.
The room was dirty - the doors. It was renovated, but they did not clean it properly. The decorative pillows and chairs were dirty. The staff at the roof top bar did not speak english and it was really difficult to communicate.
