Giannis is an excellent host and provides an excellent, comfortable and convenient accommodation for a longer stay.

The location near the Old Town was perfect. Shops were close by, but not the noise, so that you could live like at home with full cooking facilities in the spacious and well-appointed apartment.

Thia Maria is incredibly in every possible way. The host, Giannis, is extremely helpful and welcoming; the space is large, airy, charmingly decorated, well-appointed, with privacy and facilities of all kinds. We stayed for two weeks and felt right at home the entire time. Its location is equally perfect--two blocks from a lovely swimming spot; ten minutes' walk from the Old Town, five minutes from Dikasterio Square, right on the border of the tourist zone and the real city of Chania. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

There is nothing bad to say. I've rarely enjoyed a place so much.

I rarely write reviews but this stay was exceptional. The owner is very responsive and takes excellent care of the house. You can tell the care that went into each room and that the owner really want you to enjoy the stay. would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here.

The host was very friendly and genial, arranged taxi transfers to and from the airport. He was there to meet us with the keys and also on departure. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and luxurious. We also liked the outside seating area for meals and drinks.

The apartment was situated on a busy main road which was noisy with traffic. However, this did not affect our stay.

Beautiful apartment, very stylish, spacious and clean. Very comfortable beds with quality linen. 3 bathrooms. Exceptional value. Apartment is up one flight of outside stairs. It has a bedroom, bathroom and 2nd sitting area on a second level. Fabulous location 1 street away from the sea and a lovely walk along the waterfront to the old harbor. We had no problem finding on-street parking within 30m or less of the apartment. We were meet at the apartment by the owner.

There was no hot water the morning of our 2nd and last day. I am not a fan of the hand held showers that seem so common in Greece. Happily, one of the 3 showers in this apartment has an overhead shower bracket.
