This property was perfectly located in Chania. It was 5 minutes minutes from the Harbor and very close to old town. The court yard was very nice!

There was a creaky bed at first, but Dimitris sent someone over right away to fix it.

Evlimeni is in a great location and everything in Chania town is very accessible. The suite was nice and clean and is in a wonderful building with a nice courtyard. Dimitris was very helpful and gave us some great recommendations for tavernas.

Great location, less than 5 min walk to the Old town port. You can also rent their parking spot (for some extra charge) which saves a lot of time and hassle. We arrived with an early flight so it was much appreciated the the host agreed to accommodate us 2 hours earlier. The communication was also smooth and easy, via booking messages. The apartment is nicely furnished, all new and modern. It consists of a bedroom, living room and bathroom on the first floor and then a small space with a single bed leading to a lovely terrace on the second.

It is not really a good idea for 3 people since the person on the second floor lacks any privacy as there is no door. A spiral staircase with no handrail leads to the second floor which is a beautiful interior design but our 13 year old almost fell on two separate occasions.

Just a short walk (300 m ) and you are in the middle of the old town. There is also little supermarket down the road as well as a laundromat which was great.

By far the best accommodation we have stayed in for a long time. Extremely clean (credit the to the cleaner) and was cleaned again midway through our stay. The location was perfect, a very short walk from the old town and in close proximity to many shops, restaurants and bars. also right next to the Minoan excavations. Has a lovely roof terrace which was perfect for breakfast. sun bathing or escaping the hottest part of the day. Quietest air con unit I have ever known which made it very easy and comfortable to sleep despite the hot temperature outside. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and far better than anything I would expect. slept very throughout our stay. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need - even if you wanted to cook a meal. Good sized fridge freezer. Stylish clean bathroom with an excellent shower. The host was very helpful and responsive when we contacted them beforehand to arrange airport transfers and also whilst we were there to arrange transport for a day out. Would highly recommend staying here if visiting Chania.

The stairs up to the roof terrace are open so. Igbo be challenging for less mobile people or those with children.

Chaniá has lodging everywhere and it can be daunting to navigate in which part of the old center to book your stay. Evlimeni Suites is in a dead-end side street of Kanevaro which is just below the Kastelli elevated part of town. It’s also about 2 minutes from the harbour. Former archaeological excavation sites dot Kanevaro street, showing apartments from about 3,000 years earlier! We stayed in the upper level suite that features the roof terrace. It’s impossible not to like this feature of the apartment: it’s breezy, there are impressive views of the complex tapestry of roofs in the city, with the Cretan mountains in the background. The apartment has one sizable dedicated bedroom, and the second sleeping space is on the landing at the roof level. There’s also a sleeper sofa. Fully-functioning AC and good blinders at the windows. The bathroom is spotless and the shower is wonderful. Around the building there are little terraces tucked away under banana trees and Bougainville bushes, alongside a ruined building that backs into the Byzantine city walls. Sitting outside you might get startled at times by a dropping lemon that will be the size of grapefruits and smell ridiculously aromatic. I stayed here with my two teenage children for which is was very suitable. They loved the small gang of cats that are the permanent residents around the side street. Dimitris is a very responsive host and helped with transport as well.

There’s really nothing much not to like. The only thing I would say is that the bed on the landing is somewhat smaller and if people sleep there, it makes it tricky to access the terrace and not wake them, but that’s really a detail more than an inconvenience.

Close to everything that we wanted to see and do.

The location, though a bit challenging to get to initially, makes it super easy to explore Chania. The outdoor space is nice - as is the interior.

The sounds echo significantly for the person sleeping upstairs

We specifically liked the comfortable bed and cleanliness as much as the roof terrace. The location was excellent with an easy walk to everything. A hot shower with good pressure made our stay a good experience.

The communication with the host could have been a little better. Even though the bedroom was private, the next door neighbor had their balcony right next to it and it was a bit noisy. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The location was superb, close to the city center, only couple of minutes walk to the old harbour. Even the location was in the center the aparment was silent, no noice from the cars or restaurants. Many shops and bakeries nearby. Car parking possibility with extra fee. Lovely roof top terrace with local cats that came to say hello 🐱

We really loved almost everything. Dimitris is such a kind and helpful person, so willing to help and give information. The flat is stylishly designed, very comfortable, with good air-conditioning and super quiet but central location. we loved it!

In general we felt that it is more suitable for a couple without a child. the bathroom is inside the bedroom, what makes it difficult to use when the baby is sleeping.

Not clean properly

Impressive apartment in a perfect location. I stayed for 20 days and was provided with fresh towels and bed sheets every 5 days. Breakfast for 2 days was provided as well! Great place!

The location was perfect, very close to the Venetian port. We especially liked the roof terrace. The apartment was very well furnished and was very clean.
