The property was very modern after the latest refurb. The Staff all went above and beyond during our stay and customer service we received from everyone was 5 stars

Nothing we didn’t like

Location for the trip was excellent. Staff were friendly.

Extra costs for breakfast and parking. Bed was clunky. Breakfast seemed to be unorganised.

Location

The fact they took two lots of money out of my account without my consent then tried telling me it would go straight back into my account. It didn't so I was left with limited money during my stay. Bed really uncomfortable. Room basic. Better quality and facilities in premier inns which are cheaper and which I will be sticking to in the future

It was clean. It was well-maintained. It was easy to access and find.

The room was quite small, but good enough for a short stay.

Modern comfortable room

Probably the worst pizza I've ever eaten. I would have preferred to go to Tescos and buy a frozen pizza and have them make it. I asked for chilli and was offered ketchup. Terrible variety of veggie options. Avoid the restaurant would be my suggestion. There are only low range restaurants nearby.

The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable.

Not enough tea/ coffee in the rooms

Location was perfect for us and a 20 minute walk away from Salford quays where there was loads of restaurants.

The air con wasn’t great. Our room felt very warm but it wasn’t much of an issue.

I’m going to book again. Great and much better than more expensive hotels in London. No fried eggs on Sunday.

Very helpful staff

The staff were friendly and engaging. The food was good as was the service in general. Our second room was definitely an improvement on the first (see below). The lady on reception (Basha I think) was very helpful and wanted to make sure we were happy.

The rooms are looking tired and are in need of some TLC. We decided to change rooms as the first 'Executive Room' had a torn head board and clearly tattered furniture. The bathroom was not great either and had mold around the silicone. Although it states it's Salford Quays its not close to the Lowry. We would have been better off location wise, staying in Media City. It was also pricey for what was offered.

Clean and nice rooms

The hotel was stunning and the reception staff were very welcoming. Great location and the room was very relaxing.

I originally booked one nights stay but had to book another night due to the train strikes. The Friday night was £50 cheaper than the Saturday night. Although the hotel was a very pleasant stay and I would love to stay again, I just think that's a massive difference.

The hotel was well-located for tram links and for exploring Salford Quays. The room was sizeable and the bed incredibly comfortable. I liked the fact that bottled water was provided throughout the stay. Pleasant bar/restaurant area.

The breakfast was really mediocre and very limited vegan choices.

I checked in late but the welcome wasn’t v warm. I wasn’t informed about facilities, breakfast wasn’t mentioned etc. I then tried to find out more info via the tv in the room and it said 24/7 room service but when I called through the staff member said room service wasn’t available - just a bit disappointing all round.

Had a lovely bath, loved the water and sparkling water in fridge, bed was huge and comfy. I had a rough time at a concert i went to Manchester for i felt a lot better once i got the the hotel felt like home.

Limited parking space

The Accomodation is always great value for money and some of the reception staff always provide great service.

I left my Air pods in the safe in the room by mistake, no one will get back to me despite several phone calls and emails and no one replying. Then finally just an apology no one returned calls or emails and the air pods have been taken and not their responsibility. So either their staff have taken them or they aren’t cleaning rooms properly as haven’t checked the safe before the next guest checked in and taken them.

Overall everything has to be one of the best hotel and location I've stayed in Manchester and I've stayed in many staff very friendly.
