This is a fabulous property with a fantastic location. our only regret was not staying longer. Nelius was responsive and helpful.

Tuishuisie is one of the best places we have stayed in!! Fantastic location, friendly assitance and the unit has everything you could need! Will definately book again!

The whole apartment is beautiful and extremely well kitted out. Everything you will need is there. Comfortable beds, well-pressured shower and gorgeous views.

I thought it was much bigger and there is no space in the kitchen cupboard to put your own food, chips ect

What a wonderful visit to Stellenbosch. We had to rebook due to Covid, and Aletta was more than accommodating! She helped us tremendously navigate all of the ins and outs with staying in Stellenbosch during Covid. The location is perfect - right in town, an easy to walk to many restaurants and shops. If the wineries had been open during our visit, it was in a perfect location for day trips. The property was perfect size, with each bedroom having it's own bathroom, so the 2 couples and 1 child could each have space, and the common space was very modern, open and bright. Would highly recommend this host and this property. Simply wonderful!

Noise level at bar next door could be very problematic. Needs better quality dishwashing liquid & more kitchen towels otherwise an amazing stay

Lovely historical double storey with lovely decor, bedding and towels, beautiful wooden floors, cosy fireplace and couch. The kitchen is very well equipped and the big balcony perfect for a braai.

Tuishuisie is the type of accommodation that you dream about, but seldom acquire. It was way beyond our expectations and excellent in all respects. We were two couples of which one also had to work remotely. Not only is Tuishuisie sufficiently spacious to accommodate more people, but it also allows for different needs and preferences, while its double storey structure and soundproof rooms provide with utmost privacy. Its huge balconey with barbeque, sittingroom with fireplace and kitchen served as communal space for leisure and late-night conversations. Its location made it unnecessary to move the two cars for which free parking spaces have been provided, and easy to visit some of the restaurants close-by...and if you were to prefer "eating-in," the quaint bistro-pub directly below, "Stomme Jonge," can also provide with sumptuous and delicious platters. The hosts, Aletta and Nelius, have made our stay not only comfortable and enjoyable, but when unexpected circumstances emerged, have also bent backwards to assist as far as possible. Finally I also need to mention the two women who were reponsible for a site of accommodation that was spotless and also contributed to making us feel at home with their friendliness and interest in fellow human beings.

There was absolute nothing that we did not like.

Loved our stay at Tuishuise. Modern pretty decor and very central. Dedicated off street parking was a real plus in a town like Stellenbosch where parking is at a premium.
