Awesome place. In the middle of trees, with a lot of birds and iguanas that visit us in the morning after some pieces of fruit we let for them. Ecological place with Solar farm system and water reservoir for the water discard, used for the trees in the house. Close to the Curação west beaches (Porto Marie, Cas Abao, Daaibooi...), but you definitely need a car to access the place and the beaches. Special mention to Salim, who give us a lot of information and was an excellent host. I Already want to get back to Dream of Green Flamingo.

Resort is well located and close to some of the best beaches and good restaurants. The apartments are very private, surrounded by the natural environment with lots of birds and natural life at your doorstep. Staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. The apartments have everything you need and are very clean.

Very quit and pool was great for the kids.

Perfect location for beach hopping (first free beach 5min, first payable beach 7min away, Willemstad 20min, supermarket/gas station 5min away, flamingo area and nearest restaurant 2min away - all distances by car; you definitely need a car in Curacao; Flamingo Park can and will take care of that). Please note: if you’re looking for a fancy, 24/7 all-inclusive resort, this is not the place for you. But if you’re looking for amazing nature (lizards and exotic birds at your doorstep!), privacy, cozy facilities, the friendliest and most helpful owners ever (thank you again, Erna and Armand!), this is the right place for you. The location has an outdoor pool (not that you need it with all the nice beaches around), hot water in the bathroom, fully useful kitchen, A/C & ceiling fan, amazing patio, reliable wi-fi and a very homey feeling. Cleaning & fresh towels for the bathroom provided every 4 days. Beach towels available in the apartment. The reception doubles as a library (and can be accessed outside of business hours as well) that hosts a bunch of books, photos, tips and useful information on one-day trips, plants, animals and history of Curacao, etc. We had the most difficult time leaving and swore to be back.

Well furnished kitchen with good fridge. Privacy. A lot of beautiful birds, and iguanas that coming to eat breakfast with us every morning. And beautiful Daaibooi beach just 6 min away.

1. Bed mattress of very low quality and covered with plastic. I need to put two towels under the sheet in order to not wake up in night completely sweat. 2. Why there are no bugs screens in windows and doors? We even found scorpions entering because either we need to keep doors opened (in 28C and humidity 80%) or completely closed (unbearable). The main problem was with wasps, spiders and some mosquitos. 3. We have to keep windows opened during the night because the air conditioner smells bad (was not cleaned for quite a while).
