Room and bathroom and instant tea maker, good veg breakfast. are the good features.
No intercom to get room service or housekeeping.
No room service for South Indian vegetarian food .
Horribly narrow road to access to enter the hotel. Car cannot easily go !
In rain one cannot reach the room from the hotel lobby! As the place has rooms scattered over a wide open area!

Lovely green place in a nice quiet area.
Good breakfast and the people were very friendly and helpful.
Very clean room and a good shower.
After heavy rain I couldn't come into my room with dry feet.

Breakfast was good. The room was spacious. But there was problem with our second room. We weren’t happy with our second room
The employee sitting at the reception spoke rudely. The North Indian guy was good and very helpful. At the reception people need to be cordial and respond to all in the same way.

The location was supreme. Everything I needed was in walking distance. Staff was friendly.
The coffee wasn't too good.

What works for this hotel is its location. It’s very centrally located and most popular places in central Bangalore are walking distance. The staff is also very sweet and helpful and the beds are comfortable.
We were allotted room 5. The room was big and spacious no doubt. But it had a general rundown air to it. The bed linen was thin, pilled and faded, the cotton quilts smelled musty. That I was still willing to overlook since 1.) We were just there for two days most of which we spent out of the room, and, 2.) I am aware the pandemic has hit many businesses, which will take time to get back on their feet. (My travel companion wasn’t happy at all though).
What I had a big problem with was the bathroom. It didn’t look like it had been given a deep clean in quite some time. The shower curtain was stained. The walls and taps were streaked. The bidet spray didn’t work. In fact, it leaked badly, wetting the bathroom the first time I tried to use it. But worst of all was the awful stink that came from the bathroom if its door was shut for a long time. It almost made us gag when we opened it. The bathroom and room had seepage, I’m not sure if that was the reason for the stink…. But we soon figured that the hotel staff always left the bathroom door open after they serviced the room, which alleviated the stink somewhat because it basically dispersed into the room. To me, this indicated that the staff is aware the smell is a problem. I’m not sure if they can fix it in the long term. I highly recommend that they do.
We had something to compare Casa with. We happened to arrive in Bangalore a day earlier than scheduled, and had booked another hotel for that night. This was a state government-run guest house that was very centrally located too. The room was as big as Casa’s and cleaner and newer. We also paid less than half the price that we paid at Casa. It’s no wonder then when we got to Casa it felt like a downgrade for which we paid more than double.

The quaint picturesque cottage with its heritage charm.
Suggestion to the owner. Make it a Heritage museum not a hospitality . As really poor service. Rooms badly maintained. Disappointed.
