The room was so cosy and very comfortable. We were close to shops and just a 5 minute walk to the hole in the wall. We really enjoyed our stay and we got the most beautiful photos of the rock pools.

The location, if arriving from inland is perfect. Should you be on the older side and have small toddler grandkids etc, as well as need privacy and specifically need "on the beach". Then this is not the place to go.

The photos and "on the beach" are not what we found. Reason we booked was photos showed on the beach as well as plenty space for 5. The bed is in the lounge which has a pull out double sleeper. No privacy. It was my 3 yr old grandchilds birthday. Loves fishing and this was the reason i spent the almost 5000 on this accomm. We were advised on arrival there is extreme rustic path down to beach and to exercise caution. At my age to carry a 20kg child ,fishing gear etc down that trail was a no go. We were offered no refund of any sort, not even 5% as we left immediately to find alternate accomm to suite the reason we booked as we live in Ballito and this was only a treat for the 3 year old but ended in a extremely expensive treat.

ONLY THE CENERY

The staff where kind and the view was nice ,close to the beach but a bit of a stretch.

The toilets where not cleaned chemically so as a woman it caused me an infection .But told the cleaners about it .

It was a self catering unit. The location is excellent with beautiful views of the ocean. The owner and assistant were very friendly.

Although we understand it is a two star complex, the room service was non existant and there was very little hot water most of the time. The TV did not function and it was reported. So although as pointed out it is only a two star there are a few small things that could just make it better as the cost of the stay there is not cheap.

The accommodation is very Homely. I loved it but the kids complained about the beds.

The property is close to the nicest beaches.

The view was amazing, you can spot boats and the sea is right in front of the accomodation so you can hear the waves and feel the sea breeze. It is Amazingly refreshing to stay at this accomodation .

It is a self service, there is no provision of bath towels.

The facilities, the room was terrible, hence I stayed only one night n had 2 book another accommodation 4 the remaining 2 days of my stay in Durban. The furniture was way too old n need 2 be changed. My family was even angry with me 4 choosing such accommodation of which I didn't know it wasn't good. The Beding was old old n not washed... the pillows were smelly. Got worried from the time I got there when the old man told me they left the room open so that there can be fresh air inside... I was not happy n will never recommend the place 2 anyone. Actually I need my refund 4 the 2days I didn't stay... we had 2 spend more n book another accommodation so that we can sleep comfortable n enjoy our holiday stay

The view was amazing. Ballito is such a nice place. Accomodation is good if you are on a budget. Very affordable. We stayed in the garden unit. Very basic and nothing fancy.

I didn't like the the second apartment it's has long stairs An I didn't like the way or room were so separated we have to walk all the were to reach other groups
