Elisabeth and Selwyn are sharing their home with their guests. It’s not a hotel or just an accommodation it’s feels like being at home of a good friend! They offered a snack and a drink for sundowner and joined us for a talk. They served us excellent dinner. The best fish and chips we had so far! And Selwyn took us on a ride with his amphibious craft to the beach in order to enjoy the sunset. It was sooo much fun! And we never expected such a beautiful place. One of the most untouched, wild, loving and impressing places in NZ. Thanks to Elisabeth and Selwyn it was an unforgettable stay! Unfortunately we had to leave after one night. If you can stay at least for 2 nights!

Everything and everyone!!! Elizabeth met us at the door with a great welcome. They grow everything on the property so all the food is very fresh. We relaxed on the lawn with canapés & drinks looking over the Tasman Sea. Selwyn took us down to the beach on his amphibious “thingy” to watch the sunset… spectacular!!

Elizabeth and Selwyn were wonderful hosts. Food was delicious more so because everything was homemade and cooked by Elizabeth. We loved the onshore tour on Radar driven by Selwyn with some NZ history thrown in. Thank you for your hospitality. X

Das gesamte Ambiente der Lodge ist außergewöhnlich! Es gibt nur 3 Zinmer, die vermietet werden und dadurch ist der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern Elizabeth und Selwyn sehr persönlich Das Frühstück und das von uns zusätzlich gebuchte Dinner waren großartig! Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt, die Speisen waren größtenteils selbst hergestellt und absolut frisch und lecker zubereitet. Gegen 18 00 Uhr gab es on the top einen kostenlosen Snack nebst Getränk und netten Gesprächen. Ganz besonders war auch das kostenlose Angebot mit einem Amphibienfahrzeug am Strand entlang zu fahren. Selwyn war der Fahrer , erklärte Flora und Fauna und driftete mit uns durch den Sand, einfach klasse!!! Den Sonnenuntergang konnten wir dann anschließend alleine genießen und wurden wieder abgeholt. Danke für die tolle Zeit!!!

Elizabeth and Selwyn were wonderful hosts and made us feel very comfortable. We explored the garden and the beach in Selwyn's argo, which was great fun! We loved chatting to Elizabeth and Selwyn about our trip and their experiences while having happy hour. The food was simply incredible and so delicious. Elizabeth is a wonderful cook! Our view out our room was the beach and it was wonderful to watch the sun set over the water. It was amazing and we took some great photo's. I also loved looking at the sky and seeing so many stars. Highly recommend this stay.

Selwyn and Elizabeth were amazing hosts. They had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.. Cream for my wife's Americano. Soy for my adult son. The Argo ride for me. Great breakfast and presentation. Would highly recommend.
