Great house

Tremendous stay!

In the city for UBC graduation and hosting family and friends. Great entertaining kitchen, bedrooms all have en suites, and a wonderful back yard. Easy walk through lovely residential areas to W Broadway for dinner. Jamie was so quick to reply to any questions we had and was a very kind host. We’re looking forward to staying here again.

It is difficult to know where to start when describing this amazing place. Extended family stayed here for a family wedding and we were blown away with the accommodation, garden and situation of this house. It was sparkling clean and had everything you could think of to make you feel 'at home'. The garden is immaculate with great outdoor living space, we had a bbq and saw humming birds which was a delight! There is easy access to the city and UBC with a bus stop practically on the door step. Jamie was the very best host. We really felt well looked after by him, very responsive and helpful. I could not recommend this place highly enough

The garden is immaculate with great outdoor living space, we had a bbq and saw humming birds which was a delight! Our entire family of nine thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fine home. It is large enough to easily accommodate our number, allowing both privacy and conviviality. Our favourite area was the kitchen/family room where all could gather for drinks or coffee and the dining room next door was fine for large group dining. The location is excellent: easy access to downtown and also close to lovely walking in the Spirit Forest. A real test is that it rained 5 days out of 7 and yet we never felt overcrowded or unhappy about our March week in Vancouver. One problem for a couple of us was that the bedsheets had been washed in a strongly scented detergent but host, Jamie indicated that this would be changed. Finally, Jamie was instantly available if we had any questions. We would most certainly stay in this home again.
