The flat is a great home from home, it has a balcony with great views. It's up a hill so if you have a heavy suitcase take a taxi. There is a great tapes place a few streets down called La Terazza.

Good location for climbing the rock but far from town and restaurants

It was not very clean, the sheet was stained and the smoke detector hanging out of the ceiling! There was also junk left from previous tenants and it smelt terrible.

Lovely modern apartment, situated half way up the Rock so tremendous views across Gibraltar and into Spain. Bus stop right outside the door so you can usually get the number 1 bus back up the hill - the walk down is easy. Owner sent us a short video about the important points we need to know about the apartment, showing where things were kept etc. - great idea. Everything you need is there. A airport taxi is recommended, you get there in 10 mins.

Quite tight for 4 people, but you quickly get used to it and the reality is your hardly in it. Because 2 cruise ships arrived in Gibraltar, the streets were packed, you could hardly get a seat at a café and getting a taxi or bus was an issue - especially when you have a wheelchair in the family.

George was a very helpful host collecting us from the airport, recommending places to eat & sharing useful numbers. The flat was well equipped and very comfortable. Great location and lovely views.

This is a great property, lovely and clean and really well appointed - everything you could possibly think of is provided along with clean towels and bed linen. It's a great location though there is a lot of climbing to get to it. Wonderful views from the balcony and the owner was charming. WiFi worked well

The shower is very slippy - no shower mat. We had trouble pulling out/putting back the sofa bed and there are no curtains in the living room so if you're sleeping on the sofa bed you may find that a problem.

Great location, stunning scenery from the balcony, cannot fault the accommodation .Will definitely stay again. George the host was most helpful in every way.

So this is a fresh review ...just at the airport on our way back. The bottom line....excellent! George ( the owner) could not have been more helpful or kinder...regular contact when needed...before and during ...including good advice about restaurants . The view from the flat balcony sells it....sunsets..meals outside and late night card games...just ideal ...and if a13 year old ( my son) thinks so then it is ideal!! . Apartment is compact but everything is there. ...very well equipped. It could accommodate 2 couples or ...or as in our case a father and son. It is located a bit above Main Street...so expect steps....but the best of Gibraltar involves a certain amount of climbing steps. You can take taxis or tours up the Rock...but a day spent walking up to St Michael Cave ( a must) O Hara’s battery, the Skywalk .... and back to the WW2 tunnels and the Moorish Castle...was one that will live long in the memory. Queensway and Ocean village were ( I thought ) reasonably priced...and food was ample and very tasty. Before I came to Gibraltar..I had been told it was just like the UK abroad...I don’t agree. It has its own character and culture....a special place...albeit there is a lot of pro UK sentiment...and we were there at Platinum Jubilee time...but Gibraltar is its own place too....lots of interesting history and stories. A walk round to Catalan Bay and a swim in the Med...Sandy Bay too...a Bus driver who gave us a free lift ( we stupidly had no change) ...all have left a very warm impression . And I would thoroughly recommend the Arches apartment too!

only criticism is the size of the TV , most tvs have all sky BT etc , movies , might just be a case of retuning it maybe , ( it’s not a didnt like more just a comment how it can be improved

Lovely location with amazing view

The apartment is well situated and comfortable with an excellent view across the harbour. George, the host, was pleasant and helpful but it's worth pointing out that the convenience of collection from the airport is arguably outweighed by the fee of £30 for a £10 taxi ride.

The shower drain was blocked with several weeks' worth of hair residue and the taste in decoration is questionable.

Lovely apartment Georgie was a very good host.

A little too hilly for my husband,as he has walking difficulties,that's all,Otherwise highly recommended

George was incredibly helpful and extremely polite. The apartment was beautifully clean and modern and such a wonderful place to stay, it was easy to get everywhere in Gib from the apartment so it worked as a great base. I would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

There was a little confusion about dropping bags off before check in where we ended up dropping our bags before another family had checked out. Payment for the property could have been a little more straight forward/better explained.

The apartment is so much more beautiful than the photo, the view is amazing, even better than the sunborn hotel we stayed at first, and it got everything! Just like back to your own house, it got dishwasher, washing machine, tableware and 2 beds… The photo was quite dated. Anyway it’s just amazing, and the owner was super responsible, he’s a pleasant man.

Great views and nice location in old part of town. Plenty of bedding and towels. Plenty of kitchen utensils.

the only slight downside is the steep incline to get there, but that’s what cabs are for!

George is an wonderful gentleman.He picked us from airport. The balcony is my favourite.We spent hours during the night to watch the sky,sea and movement of ships.

location was great it was central Gibraltar but a steep walk back easy going down and trek back home views from balcony amazing .George is a really nice host and I wish him well in the future. The apartment was well equipped for all or needs with a lovely shower room kitchen was what we needed.

Curtains in second bedroom/kitchen over the 2 doors needed and extra bed clothes. unfortunately to the left of the balcony was a construction site for another building so noisy during the day but that won't go on for ever

Excellent location in Old Gibraltar. Magnificent view from the balcony. Clean and comfortable apartment. Number one host whenever we'll be back to Gib! Thabk you George
