The location and balcony views were first rate.

The apartment address was misleading, the building name is Watergardens block 2 not Marina Suites, taxi driver could not find. Mold on ceiling of second bathroom and second bedroom, second bedroom shower slow to drain and overflowed. Directions would be better if they said Watergardens block 2 adjacent to Ramsons supermarket. Several calls to listed help number not answered even when landline used.

The location was good.

The constant horrible smell. Damp on the ceiling in the second bedroom and bathroom . Double bed broken in second room so my son had to sleep in the first room and we slept in the lounge as the rest of the bed was more for a toddler with too much damp and dirt on walls . We couldn’t use the second shower because of damp too. Windows in lounge were so dirty that you couldn’t see the beautiful view of the harbour and the rug also smelt and was so stained and dirty that we had to put it in the balcony until we left . The cupboard where is the boiler with mop and hoover doesn’t shut and also smelt horrible inside .

The property had everything we needed, was close to the town bus station harbour and bars and restaurants and suited us as a family

The property was dirty. Windows full of fingerprints and grime. Mattress badly stained with no mattress cover. Bed sheets dreadfully creased , duvet too small for bed .Mould in the shower cubicle. Would not recommend . Needs more TLC as property tired.

Location and value for money

Full address was not provided as there were several blocks of apartments and we didn't know which block number to go to and also room wasn't ready as host had to come back with bedding in evening to prepare beds. Sweetstay also needs to improve process for collecting deposit as the link provided displayed error and wouldn't take card details. It was inconvenient as customer service team were unable to resolve technical issue on the deposit site or offer an alternative to pay by card.

The 2 bedroom apartments location was fantastic for the town and marina. Short walk from airport across the airfield or number 5 bus..The apartment on first flood of block 2. Lovely views over Marina. Air conditioning in main room and second bedroom, 2 shower rooms, kitchen well stocked and extra linen available for second room. Main bedroom excellent size with fan supplied. Internet available in flat. Bus £6 for rover ticket can get on an off buses as many times as you want. Nature reserve and historical sights at top of Rock walkable but allow a day. So many good restaurants especially Indian in ocean village and on at top of Rock. Discount available for staying in property on Dolphin boat trip. Seeing the dolphin was fantastic. Such a big pod seen, adults and baby dolphins. Catalan beach nice with lifeguard.

Angry friar pub not quality of many of local other restaurants. Would not recommend or go again even for a drink 😢. Check in process to get key very stressful without WiFi data on phone. Deposit system with Swikly can be tempremental
